Off to the Maine Shore

This is a card I did for yesterday's Inspiration Challenge on SCS.  However, it is also a perfect one to post for today as I am off to coastal Maine for several days.  As you can tell from my blog pictures, I love the ocean.  The picture in my sidebar of Perkins Cove shows you my view each and every day from my motel room.  Fabulous, eh??????  The lighthouse in my banner is a place we visit each day come rain, snow, ice, winds, cold, heat.......I really could spend the whole day, everyday there.

Anyhoooo......this card was done with Mark's Finest Papers set called Sand, Surf, Relax.  The RELAX part is what I hope to be doing a lot of while in Maine, along with some shopping, ocean viewing, lighthouse visiting, and, of course, some deeeeliish seafood.

My blog will still be posting on my challenge days, so it probably won't even seem like I am gone.  Will be so nice to have a break from the norm.........

Sketches and ISC Release Catch Up

I had so many posts this week that I seem to be doing mulitple card posts each day.  Today I am catching up on cards made for a couple of reasons, but not yet posted.

This first one uses a stamp sheet called Destination, released Friday by Innovative Stamp Creations.  It is the back panel image on this card.  The front image is also available from ISC.  I love travel and the sea so it was the perfect blending of images for me.

This next one is a pure drama card created using Roxie's sketch from Wednesday's challenge on SCS.  The only stamping was the sentiment.  The rest is created from a paper pack of designer paper.

This third one is from the same sketch challenge, but was also done for Mothermark's tea party challenge.  In real life the shoes sparkle a bit from the use of a red sparkle pen.  Just love this sentiment.  All stamps used are from There She Goes Clear Stamps.

Welcome to Innovative Stamp Creations' new release day!!!  This release, as many in the past, is truly unique! Why, you wonder? Let’s start with Friends Are Special.  Do you have one or a handful of important folks in your life? Are you grateful for their unwavering support? Wait till you see this stamp line.  Betsy challenged us to alter an item of choice, as a gift for this special person in our life!

Now onto Destination. With spring literally around the corner, are you planning a vacation? These images lend themselves to creating a variety of things, such as mini cards, minibook of your travels, scrapbook pages, and more!  You might even make a card wishing a fabulous trip for someone you know (in hopes that maybe they'll invite you along!!...lol!!!)

Of course, the last stamp sheet of this release, Time, truly compliments Destination, but also could easily  incorporate images from Journey of Discovery, Men of Wisdom, Birch Tree Paintings, and, well, you can just  imagine the endless creations!
