I actually made this card quite a while ago and somehow never posted it here on the blog or at SCS. Today I am sharing it with you. It used There She Goes Spread Your Wings set.

TSG Birthday Bash Blog Hop - Fairy Good Day

Today is the first sneak peek at the new sets being released by There She Goes. The images and sentiment on this door hanger come from the set called Fairy Good Day. I just loved this poem for the tooth fairy, so that was the decision maker in making this pocket door hanger.

Isn't that just the sweetest sentiment? I must be into tooth fairies as at a recent baby shower I gave a tooth fairy box.

There is an assortment of mushrooms, fairies, flowers, and sentiments in this set. Actually it would be a fab set for scrapbooking if you have little ones, or grandchildren for that matter.

There She Goes is Having a Birthday Bash!!!

CAS Butterflies

Just a simple card made with There She Goes' SPREAD YOUR WINGS set. Not much to tell.

I do, however, have a tale of friendship to share. Three dear friends appeared at my house this morning....a total surprise to me.....and they took the cover off our 'dead' pool for me. I had not yet done this, as with my recent eye procedure, I did not want to take a chance of scratching my eye in the bushes I would have to go into in order to take the clips off the cover. Also I was not supposed to lift heavy items or bend over. I did not ask them to do it, I did not know they had arranged to do this, but wow, am I one blessed person!!

Inspired Pumpkin

I actually spent a good part of the afternoon trying to get some Christmas cards done. However, when I saw the third inspiration piece Stef posted I thought immediately of this image by There She Goes from my fav set called BLOOM. So Christmas cards were put aside not quite finished and I made this card. I used the same image to create the mid panel....kind of make-your-own designer paper....lol!!!!

I used my fav Marvy dimple punch for the corners and my new fav embossing folder for one of the mid layers. Added some brads, a bit of piercing, and coloring with Copics and that was that!! I must say that this is one time the photo actually totally captures the warmth of the colors, which are Pumpkin and Apricot.

Brightening the Day

This is actually a card I made over a week ago, but I never got around to posting it here on the blog or on SCS. I am correcting that error right now....lol!!! It was made using the BLOOM set by There She Goes, an absolute fav set of mine! So many beautiful flowers and sentiments. So fun!!!

I used one of my new Cuttlebug folders on the top and my fav Swiss Dot folder on the bottom. I also used my SU oval and flower punches along with a Martha Stewart branch punch. For the mid border I used a Fiskar's border punch that really matches that new embossing folder pretty fabulously. I used a Marvy corner rounder, SU twill ribbon, and my classic black brads. I colored with Copic markers.

Just a note for those of you asking....I am fully recovered from my eye procedure and am back stamping away after having to take several days off. Thanks for the concern and well wishes.

Butterfly Dreams

This was a second card I did for Rox's Sketch Challenge on SCS. The image and sentiment come from a set called SPREAD YOUR WINGS by There She Goes. Everything else is pretty clear and doesn't need much explaining, which is a good thing as I am off to an appointment.

Truly CAS

Wow......this is so out of the box for me. However, I have been away from stamping for several days due to an eye procedure, and really am having problems coloring with the patch/cup I have over my left eye. So I kept the coloring to a minimum and did the embossing and piercing with tools that help me to keep 'in line'....IYKWIM!!!!! The image and sentiment are from the BLOOM set by There She Goes. I have to say that it is currently my very fav TSG set. I could truly use it daily!!!

WOW....these colors pop!! Celery, Pixie Pink, Apricot were the colors for the Color Challenge on SCS today. I finally got to stamp a bit tonight. Well, working with these colors surely did wake me up!! Here in eastern CT we had our first 90 degree weather day since the end of April.....with some of our highest humidity levels. Not a comfortable day for doing much. The poor plumber was here again this afternoon. He is young and sweet, but wow was he feeling the heat with the physical work he had to do. I was exhausted just watching him work........lol!!!!

Not much to say about this one. The image is from the Bloom set by There She Goes and the sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms. The CB is one of the new ones I recently received.

Keep cool and find some reasons for giggles.

TSG New Release -- Spread Your Wings --Blog Hop

Today we are sneak peeking There She Goes newest stamp set. SPREAD YOUR WINGS is a wonderful collection of butterflies and sentiments that are so versatile AND beautiful. On this particular card, I used several butterfly images from the set and stamped them in black on white for a bold panel and then used one of the sentiments. I love the 'flutter' they created....lol!!!

TSG -- Challenge

There She Goes is holding a challenge in connection with their upcoming release. This month's Release Challenge, starting today, Friday the 24th, is Wings & Things. The challenge is to use a image that has wings. This can include bugs, birds, angels, fairies and anything else that has wings! On the TSG Blog there is a Mr. Linky for participants to add their name and link to their project for the chance to win the new stamp set Spread Your Wings. The winner will be chosen on Monday July 27th. This challenge is open through Sunday.

I have used the new set Spread Your Wings to make this simple butterfly card. I really wanted the emphasis to be on the butterfly. Hope you can join us in this challenge!!

Da Muddermark's Tea Party in France

I took a little license with today's sketch challenge in order to make this card for da Muddermark's Tea Party. You will have to go to her blog to get the whole story, but basically we are in France for the Tour de France to support Lance SnailStrong (a name created by one of the partiers). I must say that I LOVE the way this came out....it makes me smile!!!! You are welcome to join in the festivities!!!

By the way, the images and sentiment used come from There She Goes set called Slow and Steady.

TSG and ShortCuts

This week some of the Trendsetters from There She Goes will be sharing projects using some products from ShortCuts. Be sure to check the TSG Blog for more information as well as the blogs of the individual Trendsetters for ideas. In this post I am using There She Goes BLOOM set. I used a gift card holder by ShortCuts as well as a frosted acrylic card by ShortCuts for these projects.

For the gift card holder, I decorated the front cover. I ran a ribbon behind the main image and around the back and tied a bow on the right side. I left the inside blank as I am not sure who will receive this and for what occasion it may be given. At the time of use I will add a sentiment embossed in white. I took a second picture of the gift card holder so you could see the inside. What an easy and fabulous way to 'package' a gift card.

The frosted card is simple. I wanted to make a card with no added paper, which was indeed a challenge. I stamped the image and sentiment on the front in black Stazon ink. I then colored the image from behind with my Copics, so I would not contaminate the tips on the markers. I added ribbon and a cardstock button. Inside, which you cannot see, is a second sentiment. However, when the card is held flat, the inside sentiment shows through, placed lower than the sentiment on the front cover. IYKWIM????!!!!

New Cuttlebugs....Yippee!!!!

I played yesterday's Way to Use It Challenge, not because I really had the time, but because my new Cuttlebug folders arrived. Had to try this gorgeous background one out right away. The image I used is by There She Goes and is from their BLOOM set.

Yep....I actually did a third Sketch Challenge card today. This sketch was soooo easy to create with.....thanks, Rox!!! For this one I used the BLOOM set by There She Goes. It is one of their most recently released stamp sets.

Don't have a lot of time to tell you the details, and, besides, I think you can look at it and figure it out for yourselves!!! Right????

Blooming Awake.....

Using a fab sketch from Roxie, I made this card in the weeee hours of the morn, after the dog finally fell asleep after an electrical storm and I was wide awake.......has just been one of those days....won't bore you with the gory details of the whole day.

This card was made using the Bloom set recently released by There She Goes Clear Stamps. What fabulous flowers are included in this set along with some versatile sentiments!

For those of you who have been asking, the punch I used for the 'pink' corners and the black border is by Kreaxion. It is a 4 in 1 punch which I bought at the stamp show in June. I really wanted them all, but wanted to be sure they really worked well. The email address I have on the papers for these punches is justimaginecrafts.com if anyone is interested. I think it costs about 16 dollars.

My fav and much used corner rounder is officially called the scallop corner rounder by Marvy. I have found this available at franticstampers.com . It costs about 7 dollars.

CAS Bloom

Awaiting the arrival of the plumber....fun, fun, fun.

For this card I used the Bloom set by There She Goes. Can't seem to upload to SCS this morn....will try later....must be a glitch somewhere......who know??? That is the kind of day I am having....lol!!!

No time for a story today......lol!!!

I'm Back.........

Well.....I just got back from 5 days in Maine......southern, coastal Maine....lighthouses, the ocean, beaches, delicious seafood and...............rain, rain, rain, rain and RAIN. We have been doing this trip in one form or another for 40 years (yes, I am OLD!!!). Before this trip, we had only experienced ONE truly rainy day. So, despite this week's total rainout, I am really not going to complain as our average is still doing pretty good.

I did manage a visit to a great stamping store on Rte. 1 in Kittery called Maine-ly Stamps. The owners are just the nicest people and the husband is a fabulous artist with Stampscape stamps. I bought one Magenta unmounted set and two mounted sentiments about the sea (of course!!) I was also given a third ocean sentiment by my dear friends on the trip.

The card I am sharing today is one made using There She Goes newly released set called Life's a Beach. Figured that had a connection with this posting, although we surely did not spend time on the beach in this weather....lol!!!!
