This card was created for two SCS challenges. Our destination station for the Tuesday Tea Party Challenge is a police officer hurt in the line of duty who happens to love dogs. I used one of my fav funny sets from There She Goes Clear Stamps (TSG) as I thought it might generate a smile during his recuperation. This is also for last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS which I just never seemed to get around to doing. Fab sketch, Roxie!!!
I am also entering this one into TSG's Challenge to use wet embossing. I used it on my sentiment. This is also being done for the Wild Orchid Challenge to have a sentiment on your card.
This second card was done for the SCS Techniique Challenge which was to use silhouette images. As many of you know, I have times when my peepers are pretty weak, and at those times, silhouettes are just the best stamps for me. So I was happy to play along with my SCS/blog friend, Joan Ervin, who was the hostess for this challenge this week.
I have entered this card into the Anything Goes challenge at Pile It On.
This third card is not my fav, but it is an example of my struggle to get better at CAS cards. The CAS challenge on SCS was a sketch challenge this week, and this is my result. CAS is soooooo tough......I know my image should have been smaller so the balance was better, but I just didn't have the time to do it all again. The image is a digi from Delicious Designs.....and was chosen 'cuz it looks like my Pepper......figured the pooch might want to send a V'day card or two.
This card is also entered into the Cuttlebug Challenge to use a song for inspiration. My song is the oldie called Puppy Love. Also entering this into the Happy Monday challenge which was to use a heart in your design. Since this image is a new one to my stash, I am entering the Crafty Pad challenge of using new stuff.
Snow/Ice/Freezing Rain/ Rain.....they are all on the menu for our weather tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday), so I am hoping to stay inside, warm, and play a bit more in the stamp cave. Hopefully it comes in the stated order so that the rains will take care of snow without shoveling needed!!!!!

Welcome to the TSG Mother of All Blog Hops
Welcome to the There She Goes Mother of All Blog Hops!
(If you are looking for my Crazy4Challenges post, please go down one post.)
If you have arrived here from Arielle 's blog, then you are in the right spot. If not, I recommend that you start back on the There She Goes company blog to get the introduction to our hop as well as the information you will need in order to enter to win some exciting prizes!
I was very excited when asked to be part of this TSG blog hop. My first DT assignment was for this company. The blog you are now reading is a result of my accepting a spot on that design team. So....I was more than pleased to be asked to help Jessica and the current DT celebrate this anniversary.
Each stamping participant was assigned a specific set to highlight during the blog hop. I played with the cute set called Tweeterpated. This is a set which can be used for Easter, a new baby, a shower, a birthday -- just to give you a few ideas. I also volunteered to take a second set, so you will also see cards from L.O.L Taglines, a hilarious set. I hope you enjoy the cards I made to share with you from these two fabulous sets.
Such fun images....and with the L.O.L Taglines.....such fun sentiments!!!!
Be sure to leave a comment on this post first....and then it is time to move on. From here you need to go to Tanja's blog for your next stop on the hop. AND...here's wishing you a creative and inspiring trip through this blog hop. I sincerely hope you will enjoy your journey!!!

Crazy4Chalellenges C4C36 -- What are little boys made of???
Frances is our hostess for the Crazies challenge and she gave us an inspiration challenge. We were to create a card/project inspired by the saying '.....what are little boys made of......frogs and snails....and puppy-dogs' tails....that's what little boys are made of''....other than that, it was wide open. Well.....I right away went with the snail part of it. I had been playing with TSG stamps for todays big blog hop, so I pulled out my snail set and made this one. Somehow, I am often in need of a belated birthday card.
Now...I must admit to some excitement to see what the other Crazies did with this challenge. I just KNOW there will be some cute stuff this week......so here are the links to get you to that fabulous creative team of stampers.....

Crazy4Challenges #14 -- Gift Card Packaging

I am so pleased to be the hostess for the December challenges for the Crazy4Challenges team. I hope you all will be able to take some time and play along with us during the month. I know that December is a busy time, but we all need some play time, right?????My challenge for this week was to make some type of gift card holder. I used the Rejuvenate set by There She Goes. Now I know that this does not look very 'holiday-ish' but it was created to put a spa gift certificate in that I bought someone for the holidays.
Please take a moment to go check out the creations of the rest of the team. Here are the links to our blog and to the blogs of the team members.

Inspiration Challenge

Had lots of laundry to do today, so was able to get two cards done between batches. The one above uses There She Goes set called Acts of Kindness. In the second card I used the Spread Your Wings set from the same company. Of course, I am partial to the black, red, and white one as that is my fav, dramatic, and fabulous color combo, but I also like the simplicity of the second butterfly card. Thanks for looking. If you have an extra minute, please take a look at my previous post. It was done for the Crazy4Challenges new sketch challenge AND today's inspiration challenge. Check out the Crazy4Challenges blog to see the rest of the team's creations and how you can play right along with us.

Branching Out
As part of the Inspiration Challenge at SCS I created this card with There She Goes set called Branching Out. I used the Fall Stack by DCWV for the designer paper. I used an EK border punch and a fancy brad by (forgot to write this down...if you need to know just ask). Everything else done can be clearly seen from the picture.Wishing you all a fabulous Sunday....full of relaxation, fun, and time for whatever brings you joy!!

TSG Birthday Bash Blog Hop - Fairy Good Day
Today is the first sneak peek at the new sets being released by There She Goes. The images and sentiment on this door hanger come from the set called Fairy Good Day. I just loved this poem for the tooth fairy, so that was the decision maker in making this pocket door hanger. The sentiment says....
In this pocket you will find
a teensy tiny tooth of mine.
so while I sleep where dreams are made,
let's see if you can make a trade.
Isn't that just the sweetest sentiment? I must be into tooth fairies as at a recent baby shower I gave a tooth fairy box.
Now be sure to visit each of the Trendsetter's blogs and leave a comment at each blog. Then go to the TSG BLOG and sign up with Mr. Linky. A prize could be yours. While there you could check out some of the other challenges that have already begun......in other words, other ways you can win sets!!!!
If you are going in order, you will next go to Jodi's FABULOUS blog (a good place to visit every day), otherwise, use the links below to find your way to the other Trendsetters.

TEA PARTY and TSG Birthday Bash Reminder
Today's Tea Party involves following the CLUES tp find the culprit at Tudor Mansion. Please go to da Muddermark's blog to get the whole story. Anyhooooo.......I have not checked out all the other guilty characters at the Tudor Mansion, but Ms. Scarlett is looking awfully guilty. After many years of vacationing here at the Tudor, years in which she sits around in the lap of luxury, well ...she is acting very suspiciously. Not one to exert herself physically, today she is out GOLFING!!! And she is SWEATING....not a ladylike thing to do......VERY suspicious behavior.......I am thinking she has three motives for this....
1. It gets her our of the mansion while the questioning is going on.
2. Gives an excuse for her nervous sweating.
3. Gives her a perfect excuse for hiding the murder weapon, a lead pipe , as the shaft of one of the golf clubs.
So I surmise that Ms. Scarlett is THE culprit, with the lead pipe (hidden in a golf club shaft), and it happened in whatever room has the bar (the 19th hole).
What do you think??????

CAS Butterflies
Just a simple card made with There She Goes' SPREAD YOUR WINGS set. Not much to tell.I do, however, have a tale of friendship to share. Three dear friends appeared at my house this morning....a total surprise to me.....and they took the cover off our 'dead' pool for me. I had not yet done this, as with my recent eye procedure, I did not want to take a chance of scratching my eye in the bushes I would have to go into in order to take the clips off the cover. Also I was not supposed to lift heavy items or bend over. I did not ask them to do it, I did not know they had arranged to do this, but wow, am I one blessed person!!

Inspired Pumpkin
I actually spent a good part of the afternoon trying to get some Christmas cards done. However, when I saw the third inspiration piece Stef posted I thought immediately of this image by There She Goes from my fav set called BLOOM. So Christmas cards were put aside not quite finished and I made this card. I used the same image to create the mid panel....kind of make-your-own designer paper....lol!!!!I used my fav Marvy dimple punch for the corners and my new fav embossing folder for one of the mid layers. Added some brads, a bit of piercing, and coloring with Copics and that was that!! I must say that this is one time the photo actually totally captures the warmth of the colors, which are Pumpkin and Apricot.
Thanks so much for stopping at my blog. I was a very reluctant blogger, so I am always surprised and so pleased when I hear that people check it out and occasionally leave a comment. Know that your comments are greatly appreciated.
Brightening the Day
This is actually a card I made over a week ago, but I never got around to posting it here on the blog or on SCS. I am correcting that error right now....lol!!! It was made using the BLOOM set by There She Goes, an absolute fav set of mine! So many beautiful flowers and sentiments. So fun!!!I used one of my new Cuttlebug folders on the top and my fav Swiss Dot folder on the bottom. I also used my SU oval and flower punches along with a Martha Stewart branch punch. For the mid border I used a Fiskar's border punch that really matches that new embossing folder pretty fabulously. I used a Marvy corner rounder, SU twill ribbon, and my classic black brads. I colored with Copic markers.
Just a note for those of you asking....I am fully recovered from my eye procedure and am back stamping away after having to take several days off. Thanks for the concern and well wishes.

Butterfly Dreams
This was a second card I did for Rox's Sketch Challenge on SCS. The image and sentiment come from a set called SPREAD YOUR WINGS by There She Goes. Everything else is pretty clear and doesn't need much explaining, which is a good thing as I am off to an appointment.Have a fabulous day, all!!!

Truly CAS
Wow......this is so out of the box for me. However, I have been away from stamping for several days due to an eye procedure, and really am having problems coloring with the patch/cup I have over my left eye. So I kept the coloring to a minimum and did the embossing and piercing with tools that help me to keep 'in line'....IYKWIM!!!!! The image and sentiment are from the BLOOM set by There She Goes. I have to say that it is currently my very fav TSG set. I could truly use it daily!!!Wishing you a wonderful day!! Take a moment for yourself, and maybe have a giggle or two.

Put on your shades for this one......
WOW....these colors pop!! Celery, Pixie Pink, Apricot were the colors for the Color Challenge on SCS today. I finally got to stamp a bit tonight. Well, working with these colors surely did wake me up!! Here in eastern CT we had our first 90 degree weather day since the end of April.....with some of our highest humidity levels. Not a comfortable day for doing much. The poor plumber was here again this afternoon. He is young and sweet, but wow was he feeling the heat with the physical work he had to do. I was exhausted just watching him work........lol!!!!Not much to say about this one. The image is from the Bloom set by There She Goes and the sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms. The CB is one of the new ones I recently received.
Keep cool and find some reasons for giggles.
