Things are Rosey with the CCEE
Anne, our hostess for the June CCEE Stampers Challenges, gave us an easy challenge. June is the month roses start to bloom, so include lots of roses on your creation.
I had a totally different card in mind when I started to 'play'. I had this paper which was printed with flowers including roses and I was going to build upon it. However, I then found this roses embossing folder I have neglected for a long time so I ran the designer paper through the 'bug and fell in love with the result. I no longer wanted to hide it with something else. I just love the brown 'roses' that rise out of the background......so.....new plan.......!!!!!! The only stamping on this final card is the sentiment, which was from The Paper Shop.
I can's wait to see the fabulous garden of roses that will inspire us on the CCEE Blog this week. Be sure to stop by. We would love for you to play along with us.

Using this rose embossing folder was brilliant! Lovely card, Joanne!
How rich and elegant your roses look embossed on your designer paper! I love the fabric buttons! Gorgeous work, Joanne!
That's an awesome EF...never saw it before, but it definitely needed to stand alone. Gorgeous as always, GF!
The embossing is WONderful!! I love the shades of brown..........I never would have thought of that!! Love those buttons too.
what a great card Joanne! The embossing over the dp looks wonderful and given the brown colors - this could be used for a masculine card even though it has flowers! love the touch of color in the buttons too! Thanks for stopping by my blog Joanne - Anne and I were together last weekend at the stamp show and she mentioned your health issues - will keep you in prayers!
Wow, Joanne - what a gorgeous embossing folder. I don't believe I've seen it before. I'm glad you changed your plans and used it for your card, it's just beautiful. The rich gold tones combined with the turquoise and brown are just wonderful.
