Catching Up Once Again....the story of my stamping life!!!!

This weeks' Sketch Challenge card on SCS, using a fabulous VERVE stamp set.

The next three cards are from my work on the Product Review team at SCS.  We were given some of the new Decorative Nestabilities to play with........I was gifted the Lacey Circles and the Crown Ovals.  On this next card I used the Lacey Circles.  I doubled up a black and white one of the same size.  I used this wonderful silhouette image from Innovative Stamp Creations Nature's Silhouettes III.

For the next card below, I again used a fab set by VERVE.  I again used the Lacey Circle, but only one layer this time.

For the next card, the last I will be shareing today, I used the Crown Oval Decorative Nesties set.  The image I used is my A Muse.

Grab a Cuppa!! Catch up Post!!!

This was my card from last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS.  I just love the sentiment.  The image is by Penny Black, of course!!!!  Aren't they just too cute???!!!

As most of you know I am on the Product Review Team for 2010 on SCS.  Our team recently reviewed the new large scallop dies from Spellbinders.  The card above as well as the card and gift bag below were made using the large scallop oval dies.  The image on this one is by Innovative Stamp Creations.  I also used some of my other oval Nesties to create the frame around the main image as well as a corner punch.

Another from Product Review, and once again, the image is by Penny Black.  I am pretty sure the sentiment comes from a Gina K set.

This is the gift bag made for the Product Review, using the large scallop die as the topper on the bag.  I used an SCS tutorial called 2-5-7-10 box to create the basic packaging, and then I tweaked it a bit to fit the scallop topper.  The stamp used on the 'body' of the package is by Innovative Stamp Creations.

I am sure I have a few other 'unpublished' cards to share, but these are the ones I thought of today.  Thanks for taking the time to take a 'gander'........and a double thanks if you take the time to comment.

Flower Softed Firework Blooms

This is one of the cards I did for my first 'assignment' on the SCS Product Review Team. We were given samples of several colors of the new Flower Soft Ultra Fine to play with. On this card I added it to the small dots at the flower tips. In real life, it looks quite cool.

You are all going to have to keep reminding me that computers are my friends 'cuz I am not feeling too kindly towards them  Yesterday morning my mouse died so I had to drive to the store to get a new one.....not so bad....but that was not the end.....!!!  In the afternoon I noticed that some emails I had sent had not registered correctly in my sent box.........hmmmmm....what could that be???  Well....come to find out even though I had written them today the 30th , they were dated the 28th in the inbox.  Now that would have been bad enought, but NO the computers were not done with me yet.  I decided that with all this wonky stuff going on I better do a long overdue backup of the files......witih my Click Free....which on everybody else's computer you just plug in and it does its stuff.....but NO, not on mine.......finally had to get the computer whiz (my sister) to help out on that.  Finally got that all done.  Was all the computer wonkiness gone...NOPE.....the keyboard decided not to work.  Now all this fixin' meant crawlin' on the floor on my arthritic knees and body.....NOT FUN......but (with fingers and toes crossed) things now seem to be working!!!!

Well...I am now hoping for an uneventful Sunday with lots of stamping time.  May you have a fabulous end to your weekend.

My New 'Assignment' and a Sketch

First.....my announcement. I was so honored to be asked to be a part of SCS's Product Review Team for 2010. Our first assignment involved using Flower Soft Ultra Fine. I was a bit nervous as I generally avoid little 'pieces' of things like glitter as they usually end up in my already poor peepers, but I plugged on and actually enjoyed using this. It is finer than the regular Flower Soft, but basically is used in the same manner.

I actually made a few cards, but this is the one I will share today. This SU set is one of my all time favorite sets and reminds me of gazing at the ocean. One of the things we used to do on Easter afternoon was to take a ride to New London in our Easter outfits and take a walk on the boardwalk at Ocean Beach Park. (We needed to after having our traditional Polish breakfast of borscht, kielbasa, babka, rye bread, ham, desserts, and, of course, chocolate bunnies!!!)

I am very excited to see what other new products we will be 'testing' for you this year!!! There are two teams, so it'll be a while before I get to 'work' again on the Product Review team.

Second......this is my card for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. I was so happy to see the large image panel on the sketch as I had just recently received this Penny Black stamp in the mail with an order from PBStamps and really wanted to put ink to the rubbah!!! Aren't these friends just the sweetest little things??? They make me smile and think of my friends.
