The CCEE Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our hostesses for the CCEE, Lynn and Liz, have asked us to make a pink card in its honor. They added a second challenge, which was to send this card to a breast cancer survivor. Unfortunately, there are many among us who fit that definition. I visit an oncology practice each month as they also have hematologists in their practice which is what I need. It always amazes me just how many people are dealing with cancer in their lives.
I used a Penny Black image with a Stampin Up sentiment. I just love this sentiment about HOPE.
Be sure to check out all the pinkness at the CCEE Blog.

Inspired by Barb....the Crazies 'Case' Her Work
One of our fellow Crazies is recovering from surgery and unable to stamp her beautiful creations for a while. She may have a card for today, but only because she worked ahead, knowing that the surgery would put her out of commission. Our January hostess, Betty, decided that we would 'case' Barbara's work and honor her while she is recuperating. The card I 'cased' can be found HERE I added texture to the back ground and used different flowers and dies, but I hope I did justice to Barb's truly elegant style.
Be sure to check out the Crazy4Challenges Blog to see the gallery of creations inspired by Barb's fabulous style.

CCEE1221 -- Color Challenge
Charlene is the CCEE Stampers hostess for May. This week she gave us a color combo for our cards. I did not have three of the four asked for colors, so I had to improvise. The actual color combo was cherry cobbler, wild wasabi, daffodil delight, and pacific point.
I used a fab set from SU for my image, added some piercing, a border punched element, gingham yellow bow, and rounded my corners. Pretty easy peasy, IMO.
Now you need to dance on over to the CCEE Blog to see the creations the rest of the DT made with this color combo.
