Crazy Late, But I'm Back......

After a long absence due to pain and then surgery, I am back to share a Hallowen card with you.  This was made for the Crazy4Challenges DT.  Here is the challenge for this week........

Hey Crazy 4 Challenge Fans, it's Jessie back with this week's challenge!!
We still have a few more week's until Halloween, so get out your costumed characters, and use them to make whatever project your heart desires...just make sure your main image is all dressed up!! In fact, as some of my fellow crazies have done, you don't even have to go with a Halloween theme, just make sure your main image is dressed in some sort of costume and you are welcome to join our challenge!

I use qn image from Inkadinkado.  The sentiment is part of a $1.00 stamp from Michael's.  I added designer paper, texture, piercing, and used a punch in the creation of this card.

Be sure too visit the Crazies Blog to see the creations of the rest of the team and our guest designer.

The Crazies Are Inspired

I was unable to grab the photo Jess gave the Crazy4Challenge DT for inspiration this week.  You will have to travel to the Crazies Blog to see it.  While there you should check out the fabulous creations by the rest of the tesm.

I kept mine simple, using a Penny Black pooch stamp, and adding a bi of texture to the mid panel.  I also added a touch of piercing and some brads.

Thanks for stopping in.

Crazies Get Ready for Halloween

Just a quick post tonight.  The Crazy4Challenge goal this week was to create Halloween objects.  I have a goal creating things I will actually use as much as possible, so  I went with a simple card using this subtle skeleton chair image that was still a virgin.

Be sure to visit the Crazies blog to see the celebratory creations of the rest of the DT.  You will be dazzled by their fabulous packaging ideas.  Amazing!!!

CCEE Spookiness

Sorry that this was a late post.....I goofed with the scheduling.

This week the CCEE Stampers were challenged to create a Halloween card with  no black, orange, green, or purple.  Both stamps used were unmounted, unlabeled stamps.  The sentiment stamp was a Hero Arts.

Now be sure to stop in to see the other SPOOKTACULAR creations at  the CCEE Stampers Blog.

Going Crazy for Halloween Inspiration

We were given a theme (Halloween) with an inspiration picture this week by our hostess for October, Silke Ledlow. For some reason, I could not grab the inspiration picture to post on my blog. Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the inspiration piece.

I used a die for my tree.  The only stamping involved is my 'Booooooo's' on the tree panel.  I used a border punch for the layered scallops at the botton of the card.  and a die cut to frame my image.  Just a bright easy-peasy card for Halloween.

Be sure to stop at the Crazies Blog to see the inspiration photo and the fabulously created Halloween cards/projects by the DT.

Crazies Go Color Happy

This week the Crazy4Challenges DT are playing with color.  We were challenged to create a card using orange, purple, and black.  Well...with these colors, I just had to make another Halloween card.  The image is an old retired SU image.  The sentiment is from Penny Black (I think).  Designer paper once again came in handy as did the MFT die cut used here.

The Crazies blog is sure to be full of color this week, so stop by and be inspired.

Sweet Treats from the Crazies

Jessie has given the Crazy4Challenges DT a Sweeter Treater challenge.  We must have candy represented on/by our card/project.  It can be the image, the paper, or even a treat package.  I went with the candy corn designer paper along with an adorable Penny Black Halloween pup image.

The sketch I used is one from this year's Dare to Get Dirty event at SCS.  Susan (rainy) created the sketch.

Now let's go lookin' for treats at the Crazies' Blog....surely a place for sweet creations this week.

The Crazies' Halloween Characters

Jessie is our hostess this month.  She has challenged the Crazy4Challenges DT to create cards/projects using their favorite Halloween character.  Well....I must day that 'FRANKIE' is my idol.  He is one colorful character, and truly is a unique individual.

The image and sentiment are from Mark's Finest Papers.  Otherwise, I just used some fabulously bright designer paper and an MFT die cut.

Can't wait to see the cast of characters at the Crazies Blog this week!!!

Totally Stampalicious Goes Halloween

The challenge for the Totally Stampalicious DT this week was to create a Halloween card.  I used the Stella Fairy Godmother image as I just love it.  Looks like Stella is all dressed up and ready for a sassy Halloween....lol!!!  Sorry my sentiment is kind of 'soft'.

Be sure to go to the TS Blog to see the fab Halloween creations by the rest of the team.

Crazies Do Colors

The Crazy4Challenges team was given a vibrant color challenge this week.  We were asked to use orange, green and purple.  At first I just wasn't sure what to do, but then I remembered a wonderful brown/orange sky I had seen done at a LSS I had visited.  I also remembered a very dramatic sky that Julie (justwritedesigns) had created using only greens.  From that inspiration, I grabbed my sponge and ink pads and had some fun.  I must say that I just love the sky I created.  I used a mylar template to help me with the sponging.  The scene is a stamp from Penny Black.  I 'think' the sentiment is also a PB stamp.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Be sure to visit the wild and colorful gallery at the Crazies Blog.  I am sure you will be inspired.

Crazy4Challenges

The Crazy4Challenges team has a sponsor this week, Outline Stamps, a source for many fabulous stamps.  They were kind enough to give us some stamps to play with as well as providing a prize to our participants.

Our challenge this week was to create a holiday card. I just loved this owl stamp, so I went with Halloween.  It also gave me an opportunity to use this fab webbing ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbons.  Halloween cards are such fun to make....bright in color and filled with fun!!!

A Challenging Thursday

This card is done for the Stampin B's Challenge AND the CCEE Stampers Challenge.  Faith, the hostess for this week's B's Challenge asked us to make Halloween cards.  Cindy, the CCEE hostess for the month of September, asked us to use postage....either a postal image, postal edging, a postcard....or such.

The image and sentiment are from a set called Boo to You from Mark's Finest Papers.  The postage 'diamond' is an unmounted stamp I never marked.

Both teams would love for you to play with us.  Please visit the following blogs to see the talents of the team members.

Again.....an apology to my friends in blogland.  Time has not been available for much blog hopping to see what you have all been up to.  I promise I will try to get 'hopping' as soon as things quiet down on the medical front with my mother.

The Crazies Celebrate Halloween

Barbara challenged the Crazy4Challenges gals to celebrate Halloween for this week's challenge.  I just love this little ghost and sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers, so you are seeing it again, this time as a card rather than a decoration on a caddy for treats.

I sincerely hope you have time to check out the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous and spooktacular creations by the rest of the team.  They are sure to delight you!!!!  We would love for you to play along with us, and you can get all the details at the blog too.

3-D Templates can be FUN!!!!

Hi everyone!

It's Saturday which means the "Crazies" are back with another fun challenge for you all.

Before we get into today challenge, as this week is a sponsored challenge we need to introduce this month's sponsor which is Creations by AR. Adela has some awesome templates on her site which I know the "Crazies" have had fun playing with for our challenge this week. The templates come in all formats: PDF, SVG and DXF so that you can use them with your electronic die cutting machines or cut by hand if you don't have a machine. This week's winner will receive two templates of their choice from Creations by AR.

Adela has also offered our blog readers a 10% discount on all her templates during this challenge so that is from September 17th to September 23rd. All you need to do is use the code: challenge10 when you go through the check out.

Photobucket
Now it is time for our challenge, Barb is back with another fun fall themed challenge for us all! This week all you have to do is create a card or project with a pumpkin on it in some form. It can be a card or 3D project.

Front View

This second picture shows you the side view.  I did not have any candy in the house to fill it with, but there are actually three pockets (front, back and middle) in which to place some treats.  The template I used is called 'The Three Pocket Caddy'.  I used the PDF version and I must say that it was easy to put together and decorate.  I will definitely play with more of Adele's templates.

The stamp set I used is a newly released one from Mark's Finest Papers called Boo to You.  A really fun Halloween set it is.

Now be sure to visit the Crazies Blog which is sure to have all sorts of 'treats' for you to see.
