Crazies Go to School
Jessie is our hostess for August. Here is her challenge for the Crazy4Challenge team AND YOU for this week
It’s back to school time, so make a treat for your kid going back to school, a present for their teacher, or anything back to school related.
I used a tiny set from Studio 112 to create this CAS/one layer card. I finished the edges with a frame embossing folder, after coloring the apple. Must say my Misti came in handy to get a crisp and very black image/sentiment print.
Be sure to check out the other school related creations at the Crazies Blog.

CCEE Goes Fishing
I apologize for the 'flash' effect, making the lower edge a bit bright.
Liz continues as our CCEE Stampers Challenge with week. Here is her challenge......
Hi, It's Liz again with this week's challenge. The month of August is National Catfish Month. Fishing is a year round sport and hobby around where I live, especially saltwater fishing. So, for the challenge this week, find a fish, or someone fishing and it might make a perfect masculine card for your stash!!
I used a fav stamp from 100 Proof Press. Just love this fishing silhouette stamp. I heat embossed the image and then sponging on the water and sky colors. After doing that I realized how well the colors matched one of my tartan plaid papers from Joanna Sheen. I added a touch of black, a bit of piercing, and a sentiment from MFT.
Be sure to stop in to see the other fab creations at the CCEE Blog.
AND
Once again I had Blogger issues this weekend, so I am late in sharing my Crazy4Challenges card once again.
(I will be going back to 'fill in color' in a couple of spots on the petals. My peepers were
obviously not working well that day.)

Sisterhood with the CCEE
Liz is our CCEE Stampers' hostess for August. Here is her challenge for this week.
As many of you know, or perhaps you don’t, Lynn and Liz are sisters. When they were asked to join the CCEE team at the same time, theyboth thought it would be fun to be doing this together. So, for your sister card, find an image of a pair or group of ladies or girls who just might be sisters doing things that sisters like to do.
I used an image from Penny Black. Love the way the two girls are embracing. Tells of friendship or kinship. I added a sentiment from Hero Arts. On the vertical panel I used an old SU bkgd. stamps and then added some brads to the main panel. I finished it off with a bit of piercing.
Be sure to visit the CCEE Stampers Blog to see the fab 'sistahs' creations by the multi-talented and oh so special members of the CCEE team.
I am sharing an extra card from when my Blogger wasn't cooperating so I never posted it here. Enjoy......it was done for a Crazy4Challenges challenge.

Crazy4Lighthouses
Hello....Joanne here with the first challenge for the Crazy4Challenges DT and friends. Here it is....
I have just returned from my annual trip to Maine.
One of my favorite places on Earth is Nubble Light,
a beautiful lighthouse in York, Maine.
I could sit there for hours looking at and listening to the ocean.
This week, let’s honor lighthouses on our cards.
If for some reason you do not have a lighthouse image,
then create an ocean scene.
We would like to introduce our Guest Designer for the month of July, Alexis Crossland-Smith,
Scrappin' Sister - http://alexiscsmith.blogspot.com. We look forward to 'playing' with her in this month's challenges.I used an image of my truly favorite lighthouse, Nubble Light. I decided to use it just in ourline form rather than coloring it. The rest you can see for yourself.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the fab lighthouse/ocean creations by this fabulous DT. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to leave a link in a blog comment. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C343.

Crazies for Butterflies
Karen continues as our June hostess for the Crazy4Challenges DT. The following is her challenge for this last one of June.
ADD A BUTTERFLY! I love butterflies, so have a butterfly be the main focus of your card this week. If that doesn't work for you, just add a butterfly. :-)
Thank you again to Caz Counsell (Stamping Caz) for being our Guest Designer this month!!
No stamps were 'harmed' in the making of this card. I used a corner die in the upper left and lower left corners. I then used a Joanne Sheen butterfly die. I left it CAS and white.
Be sure to check out the kaleidoscope of butterflies at the Crazies Blog. (I learned that a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope.)

Crazies Go Masculine
Karen continues as our June Crazy4Challenges hostess. Here is this week's challenge.....
The challenge this week is to MAKE IT MASCULINE. Most of us need a masculine card or two in our stash so let's see a masculine project this week.
I decided to make a sympathy card that had a masculine feel to it as I usually grab flowers for these. I stamped the leaves onto designer paper with the woven look. I pierced the base and the sentiment panel. CAS for sure with just a few brads added.
Be sure to check out the masculine creations by the rest of the DT and our guest designer at the Crazies Blog.

Crazy for Flowers
Karen is our hostess for June. She has a great challenge for the Crazy4Challenges DT and you this week. We are also welcoming Cas Counsell as our Guest Designer once again. You can find her at Stamping Caz. Here is Karen's challenge for this week........
This week my challenge is to 'MAKE IT FLORAL'. Add a single flower, add a full bouquet, or even make a flower shaped card. Let's see some blooms on your projects this week!
I used my fav floral stamp.....an old retired SU hydrangea.....and kept things simple. I colored with Copics and added paper piercing on the edges of both levels.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog too see the floral bouquet of creativity.

Thanks for the Crazies
The end of May signals the end of the school year in the US. Let's make a teacher thank you card this week. If you don't have a use for a teacher thank you card feel free to make a generic thank you card instead.
We want to thank our awesome guest, Wanda Cullen of Cullen-ary Creations for joining us this month--we've enjoyed having you play with us.
I made a generic thank you card as I had no need of a teacher card. I used a background stamp from Impression Obsession to make my main panel. I then added a die cut sentiment (which I think is by Taylored Expressions) along with some outer paper piercing.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous thank you cards they have created.

Crazy for Sketches
It is the third Crazy4Chllenges challenge for May, so it is sketch week. Barbara has a great sketch, created by Frances, for us to play with this week.
I used a fairly new Memory Box die to ccreate the negative blossoms. The designer papers used are all froom Papertrey Ink along with the matching cardstock. The sentiment is from Art Stamps. I added a heart brad along with two smaller circle brads, and that is about it.
Be sure to stop in to the Crazies Blog to see the many ways that the DT used the same sketch and yet came up with fabulously varied results.

Crazy for Emeralds
It is a new month, and, therefore, the Crazy4Challenges DT has a new hhostess. Here is Barbara's challenge for us this week.....
Hi, and welcome to a whole new month of Crazy 4 Challenges! Barbara here and I'm your hostess this month. Since May is my birth month, and the emerald is May's gem stone, let's use emerald on our cards or projects this week. Anything else goes, as long as you use emerald green somewhere.
We are tickled PINK to have Wanda Cullen of Cullen-ary Creations as our Guest Designer this month--be prepared to be WOW-ed by what Wanda has in store for us :)

I have used one of my favorite retired SU stamps. Seems like I pick up and use it once a week lately. To make it a bit different than my others I went blue instead of pink or red. It may not seem it, but there is an emerald color on the leaves in the darker shading. This card will join others in my gift stash as I have three gift collections of all occasion cards to finish in May.

Crazy for Color
Rebecca continues as the Crazy4Challenges April hostess. For this week she has given us a color challenge. We were to use the photo above as our inspiration. I ended up using two greens, white, and violet with a pop of black.
I have recently invested in some Sue Wilson dies and decided to play with them for this challenge.

The Crazies Are Wild for Flowers
Rebecca Ednie is the Crazy4Challenges hostess for April. For another week we are thrilled to have the very fabulous Teresa Kline from Paperie Blooms joining us. Here is Rebecca's challenge for this week.
April Showers bring May flowers! Please use some springtime flowers on your card or project this week! I can't wait to see all of your daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, crocuses, cherry blossoms and all the others I've not listed!
I used an old SU stamps along with Tim Holtz watercolor crayons. For a first try, it didn't come out too bad. I have a long way to go with watercoloring techniques, but I keep trying.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the garden of flowers created by the DT.

Crazy for Sketches
This week is the third Crazy4Challenges for this month so it is a sketch. I just love the sketch but must admit that I forgot the element on the left side of the main image.
I used a dainty oval die from MFT along with a beautifully intricate lace border die from Joanna Sheen's Signature Dies. What a wonderful die....intricate and yet cut beautifully with just one pass through my Cuttlebug. What appears to be black pearls on my card are actually different sized SILVER embellishments.

Crazy for Petite Critters
We have the lovely, sweet and talented Teresa Kline from Paperie Blooms joining us and she will be our Guest for the whole Month. Please welcome her by leaving a comment at the Crazies Blog or at her blog.
Here is Rebecca's challenge for us this week......
This week I've designed a challenge with Spring in mind. I hate winter and am so happy spring is finally here. Spring brings Baby Animals so use some little critters on your card or project. They can be baby animals or just small images.
When I think of small critters, I often think of this SU retired set that I used this week. I have to be honest and say that I originally wanted a different sentiment.....something including 'one of a kind', but I was unable to find the stamp I normally used.....so......I used the one that comes with this stamp set from SU>
I added some embossing to 'fill in' some white space. Scoring was also done, but it really doesn't show much in this muddy picture. Piercing was also an added detail as well as some MS border punching.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the critters represented on the DT cards.

Crazies Go Crazy for PURPLE
Welcome to another Crazy4Challenges challenge. Frances is back with our final challenge of the month..... didn't this month fly by quickly!
Before we get onto this week's challenge we would like to thank Sandy Diller for being our Guest Designer for March, we have loved having her play with us this month.
Before we get onto this week's challenge we would like to thank Sandy Diller for being our Guest Designer for March, we have loved having her play with us this month.
Here is Frances's challenge for the week.
According to the Days of the Year web site the 26th March is Purple Day. Purple Day is a celebration aimed at raising worldwide awareness of epilepsy, a condition that affects over 65 million people globally. For our challenge this week include the color purple in your creations.
I used the Sketch Challenge sketch from this week as the design for my card. I didn't have time to play this week. I used a stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms for the flower. I added a bit of bling and some twine. I made the horizontal layer by punching a MS punch on both sides. I also did a bit of paper piercing (as usual).....
Be sure to stop at the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous PURPLE creations by this talented crew of Crazies.

Crazy for Sketches
It is the third Saturday of the month, so the Crazy4Challenges stampers are playing with a sketch this week.
I used a floral stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. The sentiment is from MFT (I think). I think the rest of the creative process is self explanatory.
Be sure to stop in to the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous and varied creations inspired by this sketch.

Crazy for Umbrellas
Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our Crazy4Challenges hostess, Frances Byrne. Our Guest Designer for March is Sandy Diller, I am sure you (like me) will enjoy seeing her creations this month. Here is this week's challenge.......
Did you know that March was National Umbrella Month. This marvelous invention which helps prevent us from getting wet on those rainy days or can keep us sheltered from that sun was invented over four thousand years ago … wow! Let's celebrate the umbrella this week by including one on our cards this week … it could be an umbrella to stop the rain, parasol or beach umbrella.
My umbrella was made with a Spellbinders die set. The sentiment comes from a Flopsy set by MFT. I added some piercing and a few polka dotted brads.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous umbrella creations by the rest of the DT.

The Crazies Think Spring
Happy Saturday and welcome to the last challenge for February! Peggy is the hostess for the Crazy4Challenges. A big thank you to Vicki Dutcher for guesting with us this month!
Here is Peggy's challenge for this week.....
Spring is just around the corner, so let's see some Spring themed cards. For those of you "down under", feel free to do an Autumn themed card.
I created a Spring scene. The tree and the flowers are from There She Goes Stamps. The sentiment and the girl image are from My Favorite Things as part of their Pure Innocence stamps. The cloud background is a 6x6 stamp from Impression Obsession. I added some paper piercing as well. The fishtail panel was not created with a die, but is like the ones from MFT.
Be aure to stop in at the Crazies Blog so you can start to get the feeling that spring is around the corner.....
