CCEE......The Color of Money

Anne is our June hostess for the CCEE Stampers Challenge.  The first Monday in June is Bank Holiday in Ireland, the home of one of our DT members.  She has asked us to make a card using cash, coins, or the color of money......green.  I originally thought I would be making an Asian card this week as I 'knew' I had some Chinese coin buttons..........unfortunately I could not put my hands on them.....so a new direction!!!!!  I used one of my old shadow stamps to create the background and added some piercing.  I then stamped this wonderful image, part of a set called Hummingbird, from Clear Stamps.

Be sure to stop in at the CCEE Stampers Blog.  You are sure to be dazzled by the creations.

This looks fabulous!! I love the shadow stamp, and I have forgotten all about them. I can put my hands on my Asian coins, but have no idea where I put those images! LOL! Great job using that lovely shade of green!

What great work with the shadow stamping - it's so even I thought maybe you'd masked the grid. Shame you couldn't find the Asian coins - they didn't look right for me the only time I ever tried one, but they ALWAYS look right when I see them on other cards. However your silhouetted birds against the green still have a great oriental feel and it's such a bright, positive card.
