The CCEE Stampers were given a challenge this week to use only a portion of an embossing folder. I decided to use the embossed area as one of the 'panels' of my card. After doing the partial embossing, I added scoring to define its edges. I then added some piercing to further define the base 'panel'. I stamped my fav Thomas Kincade winter image from CHF, leaving it just black and white and 'sketch'like. I then added my SU sentiment and some bling. Really turned out to be a CAS card with some drama, I think. This was a fabulous challenge, Vicky.....doing a great job as our hostess this month.
Now be sure to check out the partial embossing ideas at the CCEE Stampers Blog.

Love the white & black Joanne
Wow, I, too, am lovin' the black and white. Very classy, Joanne!
Fabulous, Joanne. I love that awesome scene and certainly no coloring needed on it. Beautiful!!
Uncolored is the only way I can use those TK images. It looks beautiful on your card. And I like the way you made the partial embossing one of your panels.
OKAY.....where's the RED????
BEautiful in black and white. Love the piercing of course! Hugs.
So striking in the black and white!! I like how you added the scoring and piercing, too. Absolutely beautiful, JoJo!
Adding the scoring is wonderful - it makes it look so finished. The monochromatic look is lovely too - very peaceful feeling.
PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY!!~
