CCEE1217 Scallops, buttons, and flowers

I apologize for the washed out photo.....just one of those days when the camera and I had a 'fight' and the camera won.

Cindy, our hostess for April, challenged the CCEE Stampers to create a card using scallops, flowers, and buttons.  My flowers are embossed on the base and are on the black and white dp.  I am sure you can see the buttons and scallops for yourself.  I have made a few cards lately using this CAS sketch.  I just love it, especially to bring focus to a sentiment.  I am once again amassing a number of cards to send to a friend's daughter who does a women's ministry in San Francisco, CA.  I try to keep them pretty clean as I don't want her to worry about mailing costs.  So....you will probably see a few more using this bold and yet CAS sketch.

Hope you hop on over to the CCEE Blog to see the fab creations of the rest of this very dear and talented team.

Don't you hate it when the camera wins, sigh... It still looks fabulous, though - the embossed base looks so rich and luxurious and that's always a winning colour combination.

Yes, that layout is fab! I love the colors, of course, and the scalloped punched border is wonderful. Great job as usual, gf! Hugs!

I love all that embossing. It really gives your card depth. I bet this is pretty IRL. Great job Joanne.

A gorgeous card, you know I love this color combo. I like the white embossing, too.
