Time for my Thursday Challenges

Well.....today I was the hostess for both of my Thursday Challenge Teams......if I had thought ahead I would have done two challenges I could easily combine.....however...........this week I have TWO cards for you.

My Elvis card, with images from the now defunct Cornish Heritage Farms, is for the Stampin B's challenge.  I asked the team to Strike Up the Band and do something music related.  Well, I grew up with rock and roll and Elvis, so that was my inspiration and motivation.

My challenge for the CCEE Stampers Challenge was related to the weather......not the weather on any particular day, but to honor the Winds of March by using swirls in some way on their creations.

I used this sweet ocean-inspired stamp set that my dear friend, Charlene gave me.  On her visit to an Archiver's store she thought of me when she saw this Archiver's exclusive set and I just LOVE it.......cuz, just in case you didn't know, I love being near the ocean....it is where I find peace and tranquility.  Thanks again, Ms. Bertie!!!!

My swirls can be found on the background in the form of dry embossing with my CB.

Now.....that is what I have for you today.....however....there is more for you to see at the blogs for both these fabulous teams...so here are the links to help you 'travel' to some great creations.

Cute cards! What brand/company is the little girl holding the seashell? My sister and I have this little inside joke between us and whenever I find a girl holding a seashell to her ear I have to buy it for her. I would LOVE to make her a card if I could find that stamp somewhere.

Have a wonderful day,
Tammy

Maybe it was good that you didn't combine your challenges -- we got to see TWO card! Love the Elvis one (I too loved Elvis!) and the little girl with the shell is so sweet.

What image could be better than Elvis for your 'music' related challenge? Super card!
How sweet of Charlene to see this stamp and get it for you. It is certainly a 'Joanne' image. Both cards are just awesome.

Love your cards. Your Elvis cards have always been a favorite of mine. So are your colors.

Such a cute little girl holding the shell. Oh, yes, the ocean is so calming and relaxful. Love the ribbon and the twine.

I'm all shook up over your fabulous Elvis card, JoJo! I've always admired your Elvis creations, and, as you know, you made one for me to give to my SIL one year (she loved it!).
Yep, I knew this sweet image had your name written all over it, not only because of your love of the ocean, but she made me think this is what you mighta looked like when you wuz a wee little lass in pig tails holding the sea shells up to your ear. Cute, cute card! I love how you did the twine(?) embellishments on this, too.
Oh, by the way, if you can get your cute self here on Saturday, I would LOVE for you to join us!!! No invitation necessary! :-)

Two wonderful creations again, but I'm VERY partial to the Elvis image and I LOVE how you put that one together!
