Marvels of Nature III -- ISC Sneak Peek

Marvels of Nature III
by Innovative Stamp Creations

Welcome to ISC's  last ‘new’ release of the year!  We’re pleased to introduce Marvels of Nature III. Due to popular demand, Betsy reduced in scale some of the realistic tree images found on the following sheets: Maple Tree Painting, Marvels of Nature I, and Sketch of Nature!  How cool is that?! Plus, there’s a new image on this line as well, a lovely oak tree. Imagine all the creative possibilities by using the larger tree images along with these new smaller sized ones!  The possiblities are simply endless!

Today I am sharing three cards with you using this set.

This first one uses the palm tree image from the set along with one of the many sentiments.  I stamped the same tree at three different heights and angles to create the scene.  I sponged the 'earth' with black ink, and then sponged in the sky with Cool Caribbean ink and Lavendar Lace ink.  The sun was sponged using a mask with So Saffron. Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red ink.  With my love for the ocean, this is my fav!!!

Using another tree image and sentiment from this set, I applied fall colors to the tree and then repeated some of those same colors in cardstock and designer paper.  I also used a Martha Stewart punch.   Wish I could move that sentiment over a bit to the right.....oh well!!!!!
This third card, a more CAS one, uses yet another tree and sentiment from the set.  I did emboss resist with this one.  I hear embossed with white embossing powder on white cardstock.  I then sponged River Rock and Old Olive ink on the background which made the trees 'rise' out of the white cardstock.

You really must take the time to see what the rest of the Creative Architects have designed.  I can't wait to see what they have to share as they dazzle me everytime.  Here are the links to help you get around.
