Stampin B's and CCEE Challenges

Stampin B's #79
Hostess - Faith
Challenge - Fall Card
Well....Autumn cards are among my favs.  Love the rich warm colors of the season.  The leaf I used is a stamp by Stamp Monger.  The leaf punch is by EK Success.  The rest I am sure you can figure out for yourself.

The rest of the Stampin'  B's would love for you to check out their wonderfully autumnal creations, so travel along to the Stampin B's Blog to see them and to read how you can play along.

CCEE Challenge -- CCEE1040
Hostess -- Shirley
Challenge -- Use a handmade flower on your card.  It can be made from scratch or you can use punches/dies.
I really fell in love with this CAS sketch from SCS and know I will be using it often.  Well, no stamps were used in the making of this card....well.....the sentiment is a stamp!!!  I used some leftover dp I had for the mid panel.  I used a Big Shot die for the flower layers and a brad for its center.  Isn't it cool how the brad matches the circles in the dp????  I used an EK Success punch for the bottom effect and put a small strip of black paper behind the punched area.  I also put a single score line above the punched area.

Now...you are surely going to see some fab flowers from the rest of the CCEE team so head on over to the CCEE Blog to see them and to learn how YOU can play along with us.

On the computer front, my brand spenkin' new tower arrived and my sis is in the process of getting stuff off the old hard drive and loading stuff on the newbie......should be up and back to normal soon........can't wait.....

It was a cold and wet day today (Wed.), but I did get my swim in and then continued to prepare for the 'get-rid-of-your-unused-stamps-and-crafts-supplies' sale on Saturday.  What a job!!!   AND...the sad thing is that the stampcave doesn't look any less crowded.....lol!!!!

You know I love this Fall card and there's also a big wow! on your CCEE card. I love that beautiful red flower and I see what you mean about that brad matching the circles in the paper. Super! Well, don't you just hate it when you clean out and things still look the same? I think that means we have too much. LOL Glad the brown truck arrived with your new computer, though.

Oh My Gosh, that leaf look like you plucked it right off the tree! The coloring is fabulous! Love the red/white/black card too, but I'm wondering how you could possibly not use some of your stamps with all the cards you create? That's my biggest problem - I NEVER part with any of mine! LOL

WOWIE, my friend! Both of your cards are stunning and beautiful! Your fall leaf is beautifully colored and I love that unique ribbon you used. And, of course, that big, red bloom is a magnificent contrast against the black and white background.
I'm glad to hear your new 'puter is getting put together so you can be back in full swing.
