Joanne Grzelak (me!)
This has been a busy week on the home front. Had hoped for lots of stamping time, but it was not meant to be. However, I did get to make a couple of cards I'll share on another day. One was for the sketch challenge on SC.
On the positive side, in the last week or so, I have had some excitement. My nephew Jason and his wife were here last weekend for a wedding, so we had a short but wonderful visit with them. There was a retirement party for two dear teacher friends, so attending that even helped me to see many people from my teaching past who I had not seen for quite some time. I was soooo busy chatting that I never ate a bite of the wonderful food other dear friends had prepared. I got in 3 morning swims, a lunch with friends, my car serviced while I had breakfast with another dear friend.
I want to thank any of you who may have sent cards to my friend Pat. She is home from the hospital and was so very pleased with the shower of cards that awaited her......and I am sure that they are still coming in.......you wonderful creations really do make a difference....thanks so very much!!!!
AND.....today....depending on the weather forecast, I might actually be meeting up with an SCS friend. We shall see.....we shall see.....!!! (The weather matters for me because of my peeper problems. I generally do not drive interstates when it is raining and it is sometimes too 'foggy/misty' for my eyes).
