Bringing Humor to the CCEE and Stampin' B's Challenges

Happy 1st Anniversary Stampin B's
Stampin B's #52
Hostess -- Vicky Gould
Challenge -- Humor in honor of April Fool's Day
Vicky is our hostess this week, and she challenged the Stampin B's to bring humor to our cards in honor of April Fool's Day (my least favorite holiday.....remember, I was a middle school teacher.....it was not the best of days to have that distinction.  I used to spend that 'holiday' dealing with issues caused by practical jokes or finding myself as the victim on occasion.....all in good fun, but still exhausting).

I decided to find humor with something that truly gives me much angst in real life,......exercising and TRYING to lost weight.....both battles in which I am not on the winning side!!!!  I found this image somewhere online as a freebie (wish I could remember where) and the sentiment is computer generated.

Now be sure to visit the Stampin B's blog to see the creations of the fabulously talented team members.

CCEE Challenge 1013
Hostess -- ME!!!
Challenge -- Include a funny critter or two on your card
Now, I will be the first to say that this is not the most fabulous card I have ever made......but I just LOVE this saying and accompanying image.  I feel it is sure to brighten anyone's day....unless they truly have NO sense of humor.  I have no idea where I got them, other than I did get them both at the same time.  If you know the company, please share.  I am smiling right now just reading that poem again......if life could just be that simple.  It's a good day if you find NO frogs in your underpants.  Now...I could share a story of a dear friend...one of my Old Fart's Club friends, who could share a story about a wooly something kind of lure she found in HER underpants.......OUCH!!!!!

Anyhow, now scoot over to the CCEE blog to see the creations of the rest of our dazzling team members.  I can only imagive what they have created with this challenge.  I am predicting some big grins with both of these challenges today.

EDITED TO ADD....I found out who make the frog/underpants image and sentiment.  It is by a wonderful company called Repeat Impressions

These cards both brought a huge smile to my face! Love those frogs in underpants! LOL
My DH asked me last night if he needed to check the sugar bowl today.........as an April fool's joke many years ago, I filled the sugar bowl with salt and he never forgot that morning cuppa coffee to this day! LOL Happy April Fool's day :)

Oh Joanne, I'd love to know what company makes both stamps. I collect frogs and stamps. My daughter gave me a plack with that on and I was thinking I don't know where it is. Thanks for making me smile and giggle this morning! Rosy Eckhardt/yellowroses4us@aol.com

I too couldn't pass it up. I wish I had the frogs in the underpants to go with it. Either this company discontinued them or you got yours somewhere else.
