Hello All!!!
Joanne/jojot here with the next-to-last CCEE Stampers Challenge of 2015. Due to the craziness of the season, we will only be doing challenges this week and next, giving a bit of time off to enjoy the holidays with a little less pressure. So.....here is my challenge for this week....
Today is National Roof Over Your Head Day. It is a day to be thankful for those of us who are fortunate enough to have a safe home to live in AND to think about those around the world who do not. To mark this day, our challenge today is to make a card with a house/building of some sort on it.
For my card today I kept it really simple. Due to my health issues for the past 11 monrhs I have not been stamping much. So.....my holiday card stash is nearly empty. I am going to try to make very simple cards this year and I think this will be one I will duplicae in maybe a groups of 20 or so.
In the picture you can't see it very well, but I did dry emboss the background with a snowflake folder to give the card some depth. I added piercing around the original stamped image.
We'd
love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something
using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS
Gallery using the keyword CCEE1549. Don't forget to then go to the CCEE Stampers Blog and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see your card too. While there, certainly take the time to view the fabulous creations by this wonderfully fabulous team of friends.

How brilliant to leave this image uncolored....I love it...you always make the bestest cards, GF!
What a fabulous image for today's challenge, Joanne! Your monochromatic design is sensational with your embossed snowflakes and pierced frame! I love it!
What a wonderful image and so perfect for your challenge! Your friendly snowman is a great seasonal greeter!
Great old fashioned image.......I love it in black and white. I'm glad to made the comment about the embossed bg......very hard to see. Our cameras are not always our best friends. I love the piercing of course, my friend!
A beautiful detailed image like this only needs a simple setting to still make a great statement. With your trademark piercing and the black matting, anybody would be delighted to receive this. No postage worries, either :D. You're winning all round.
Brilliant idea leaving that image uncoloured, you have made such a beautiful card. Joanne
I love the black and white image on your card, Joanne. It reminds me of days gone by. Sorry I'm late with my comments. Time just passed me by!
This image looks awesome uncoloured.
Gorgeous vintage scene love the image!
