The CCEE Stampers Go 'Down Under'

For this last challenge of October, this is Maryann's challenge for the CCEE Stampers.

Hi Everybody,
It's Maryann here this week I am saying goodbye as hostess, so I am saying farewell with something down under, it is not necessary to have something Australian, it could be under the sea, or a tree or underground or under an umbrella.

I immediately thought of this small set from Technique Tuesday which was still a 'virgin' set.  I heat embossed the image, sponged the sun, and then sponged in the sky.  The sentiment is from the same set of stamps.

Be sure to stop in at the CCEE Blog to see some other wonderful example of 'down under' cards.

Life is good, and under a tree with friends and a swing is just some of its goodness to behold. Love this pretty card that depicts the wonders of goodness indeed.

Under the sun, under the tree. What a fun card with the silhouette of the kids having fun on the swing. I love your colors, JOanne!

Cute card, Joanne! Your sponging of the sun and sky is marvelous. I like the different shades of orange on the sun.

What a lovely nostalgic feel this has with the silhouetted image. Brings back childhood memories, except our swing hung from an A-frame, but we did have a knotted rope hanging from a tall tree too. The sponged background is really beautiful.
