CCEE Stampers Challenge -- Fabric and Corrugated Paper

Welcome to the CCEE Stampers Challenge.  For the month of May, I (Joanne/jojot) am your hostess.  For the challenges this month, we are going to concentrate on tools and embellishments rather than themes.  Please feel free to do a faux version if you do not have the tool or embellishment.

This week our cards/projects must have fabric and corrugated paper.  The corrugated paper may be made with a crimper or already crimped.  The fabric must be something other than a ribbon.

My original plans were to use burlap on my card, but my stamp cave is such a mess that I could not put my hands on it.....so I went with Plan B.  I wish I could say that I created this beautiful fabric bloom, but I can't.  I have had it forever and just could never make it work on a card.  Well, this week I did.......I had to keep the rest of the card fairly simple.  I used already corrugated paper for my horizontal panel along borders made with a Martha Stewart punch, added some paper piercing, and the thank you sentiment finished it off.  I am happy to say that I love the results....plus I used this flower that has been hanging around for much tooooooo long.

Be sure to visit the CCEE Stampers Blog to see the fab creations by the DT....you are sure to be dazzled.

It agree with Vicky, whenever I see black, white, and red, I think of you, Joanne. Glad this fabric flower was in your stash and it surfaced for this card. Always love your added piercing. That is the one thing I am pretty lousy at, paper piercing. Next week's card is a true challenge for me. LOL

You certainly made that fabric flower work here, Joanne- it steals the show. The strip of red and the punched border anchor it to the page perfectly. I thought it almost looked as if it had been knitted - it's really stunning.
