Before I say anything else, I must apologize for this muddy picture. No matter what I did, I could not get a crisp picture. If I tried to 'sharpen' this picture with editing, it became dark and gloomy. Please know that in real life it is crisp and striking in color.
Anyhoooooo.....Vicky gave us another technique challenge this week. She asked the CCEE Stampers to use the delft tiling technique. Splitcoaststampers has a wonderful tutorial on this technique, so be sure to check it out. I used a retired background stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms, stamped in dark navy. I then did my sponging in a lighter Broken China distress ink. The colors really are very nice IRL. I then added some pearl flourishes, created a flower using a SU flower punch, and finished the flower with a large pearl brad.

If this is a muddy photo, Joanne - sheesh, it must look absolutely fantastic in real life because it looks pretty wonderful already on screen. The pearl flourish picks up wonderfully on that swirling paisley-style background.
The sponged Broken China looks wonderful against the navy background. This is such a lovely card, Joanne.
