Getting Sketchie with the Crazies

I was very happy that this was SKETCH week with the Crazy4Challenges crew.  We, here in CT, are int he midst of a longgggg heat wave.  We have been above 90 for over a week, and on some of those days we were near 100.  The heat index has been off the chart due to the sticky, icky HUMIDITY that is just unbearable.  My stamp cave is in my basement which is usually a more temperate place, but all this heat has reached even that level and it is deadly.  So...thanks for the simple sketch...it allowed me to make a quick card.

Be aure to check out the Crazies various takes on this sketch.  It is always fun to see the variety of creations that are all born from the same sketch and yet each braches out in a direction of its own.

That really is a great sketch and you made such a gorgeous card. Love the stripes and other pretty papers you used.

I think we swapped our heat this summer. We've had a rather pleasant summer. The last two weeks were bad but nothing like last year. We've had lots of 80 temps. Haven't even reached the 100 degree mark this year.
