CCEE Celebrates Birthdays for the Guys
I have not had much time for stamping lately, but I am happy to say that I was able to do this week's CCEE Stampers Challenge. Vicky's son-in-law has a birthday today, so she challenged us to make a masculine b'day card using the colors of brown, tan, and green. Since I am always in need of masculine b'day cards, I was glad to accept the challenge.
Be sure to go to the CCEE Stampers Blog to be inspired by all the fabulous masculine creativity on display
AND........
We had a whirlwind visit with two of my nephews this week.....
On the left is Eric, who lives and works in Houston. In the center is Kyle, who hails from Savannah, and to his left is his girlfriend, Kayla. We had a fabulous visit full of laughter, teasing, catching up, and....well.....pure joy for a loving auntie. Missing was Eric's wife, Carrie, who was hard at work with the Houston Food Bank, unable to travel East this time.

Fantastic card, Joanne!!! And, then, you added that photo of those good lookin' dudes! Always good to have family visit!!
I like the banners on the side of your card -- and that tree is very cool! So nice you visit with your nephews.
Jo,
Wonderful card - the banners are perfect and the tree is awesome - very pretty! Sounds like you had a fun time with your nephews' visit!
I really like the addition of the buttons.....I never group them, and they look fab!! Nudge me now and then, huh? Glad you had such a nice visit with your guys!
A beautiful card, I love the banners. So glad you got a great visit in with your nephews. I know how much you enjoy them.
How lovely that you had some family time - I hope you enjoyed every minute of it. I'm glad you still found time to make such a gorgeous card - all the different patterns in the paper are just wonderful. Like you, I thought "tree" :D.
Your masculine card is super, Joanne.
How great to have this wonderful visit with your family. I'm enjoying a visit with my son and his little 4 yr. old this week.
