The CCEEer's Enjoy a Picnic

This is Shirley's last week as our hostess.  She has finished off the month by challenging the CCEE Stampers to create a card/project with the theme 'PICNIC'.  I knew right away I was going to use this digi image from Bugaboo Stamps.  I have had it printed up for ages and this was the perfect challenge as his big juicy hamburger says PICNIC to me.

I used a Memory Box tree die for my tree.  I die cut it on white and colored it with my Copics.  I then used pieces of green designer paper for my ground.  The sentiment is by SU.  I will be using this for a young boy's b'day later in the year, so the inside says "Have a delicious birthday!"  Love it when I can use a challenge to get a needed card done.

Be sure to stop by the CCEE Stamper's Blog this week to be inspired to create a picnic themed card OR to have a picnic of your own.

Joanne, this is so adorable. I love those hills with the perfect patterned paper. And, the boy with that big burger is just too, too cute. What a fun picnic creation.

So cute, I love how you used the dp to make the grass and the clouds are gorgeous. Now I want you to fix me a big hamburger like that. Looks mighty yummy.

Oh, a tasty homemade burger would certainly go down well! I love your pieced foreground and the lovely leafy tree. All of a sudden the trees here have greened up - must have been while we were on holidays!
