Going Crazy for Wood

Have you ever had one of those days when things go wrong???  Of course you have.....and that is why you will forgive me for a couple of issues with this week's Crazy4Challenges card.  Our challenge hostess, Kelli Jo, asked us to get into the 'wood' craze.  Well, I went literal with that challenge....I thought we had to use wood.......and that led to this balsa wood snowflake being on my card.  It is mounted over an embossed snowflake image by Hero Arts.  The wood snowflake itself was also embossed with the same embossing powder.  The second calamity was the photo.....there are certain shades of blue and pink that just don't photograph well in my situationn.  This time the color is pretty true, but it really muddied the white.  Know that in real life the white is sharp and clear.

Now....mosey on over to the Crazies Blog to see the very creative ways the rest of the team used 'wood' on their creations.  They are positively fabulous.

Love that wooden snowflake! I didn't have any wood so I used wood paper. Love your card!

Very pretty, Joanne. What you thought was 'wrong' turned out to be a really pretty card. I think the photo looks great, too.

Yes, I've had several of those days. LOL
