Charlene is our CCEE Stampers Challenge hostess for the month of March. She probably has no idea how hard she made me work for this challenge. The challenge is to use eyelets. Well, the eyelets were the easy part. I was once obsessed with eyelets and have them in every color and shape....well, almost!!! My problem was that I hadn't used them in soooooo long that I couldn't find my tools to use them. My hammer was totally missing. It took me ages to find the 'spreading tool' (or whatever it is called that you hammer) to make the eyelets permanent. I finally found it in a tool bag I had to first clear of paper dust before I could look in it. Anyhoooooo....once I had the TOOLS it was an easy challenge.
I can't wait to see how the rest of this fabulously creative DT uses their eyelets. Now that I have my tools located, I really want to use them more often. So.....if you are curious like me to see what they created, be sure to visit the CCEE Stampers Blog.

glad you found your eyelet tool Joanne ... loving your card
this is why we never throw anything away........wonderful colors, dp, eyelets.
I was going to say the exact words Anne said about not throwing anything away. You just never know when you may need something. Glad you located your tools and got this pretty card made. What a cute image and such pretty paper, too.
Time you had a Crop-a-Dile, and then you could make more gorgeous cards like this without having to go on an archaeological dig first ;-). Trust you to go for black, and don't they ever look good! I also love the pop of colour from the flower contrasted with all the blues and greens.
Tee-hee! Sorry you had to go on an archaeological dig for your eyelet tools, JoJo, but I'm glad you found them! I still have my old eyelet tools, but I love my Cropadile. So much easier to use. Your card is beautiful!! I love the pretty blue dp and that cute image.
Pretty floral DP on this, Joanne. I'll get in line with the rest of the Crop-a-Dile people. Love mine -- makes working with eyelets so much easier!
Wow, that be one tall gal! How cute. I have to agree...time you got a crop-a-dile; fabulous tool and you can also punch the holes with it! I love the papers you used and your layout. Awesome coloring too!
Okay, I'm going along with everyone else - a crop-o-dile is really awesome! Your card is so very pretty, Jo! The image is adorable and the DPs are very, very lovely!
Such a pretty card, Jo. A pretty I,age and I love the beautiful blue papers. I had forgotten how to set the eyelet and I also had to search for the tools.
