The CCEE'ers are 'Under the Weather'......

;

Frances is our hostess for the CCEE challenge this month.  Today she reminded us that Feb. 5th was Meteorologist Day.  In keeping with that theme, she asked us to create a card that features some sort of weather, for exampe.....the sun, clouds, rain, snow, etc.  Well, I decided to add another card to my holiday stash for 2013 with this challenge.  I used ides from Memory Box and Impression Obsession to create my scene, and added a Hero Arts sentiment.  I added just a touch of bling to the snow showers and in the 'dot snowflake' of the sentiment.

Take a moment and visit the CCEE Stampers Blog to see what other weather events are represented on the team's cards.

Just a note....it is quite appropriate that I chose SNOW, as we here in New England are anticipating BIG snow starting late tonight into Friday.  The inches of snow predicted is as high as 24 inches.  I am hoping the meteorologists are VERY wrong on their predictions.

I LOVE this winter scene. The dark blue and white are great together. Those dies are great.

Do you know how excited we would be in my 'neck of the woods' to have a snow like you're expecting? You can't imagine. LOL Stay warm.

I see you're still celebrating winter -- better than complaining about it, I guess. Your little white diecut village looks good silhouetted against the dark blue.

Love your wintery Christmas card, Jo. Great work with the dies. We, too, are under a winter storm warning, but we're only suppose to get half of what the East coast will. It was suppose to start snowing around noon, and I've yet to see a snowflake. Hopefully, the forecasters will be wrong.
