Sweet Treat Despite Photo Frustration

This is a recycled project today.  The challenge for theh Crazy4Challenge team was to make some type of gift packaging.  I decided to use this acrylic box that came with some stamping item I purchased and make a decorative sleeve for it.  I used a newly released set from Totally Stampalicious for the image and sentiment.  I added some bling and some green ribbon.  For purposes of this picture, I put some peppermints inside, but I actually intend to decorate some nuggest of chocolate to give as a gift.....but....if I buy the chocolate too early, I'll be snitching a piece now and again....not good for my health or my weight.  So I keep the peppermints around for photos as they don't tempt me in the least.  These are probably a year or two old!!!!

Now, be sure to stop by the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous packaging by the other DT members.......and check out the wonderful work of our newest DT member, Dawn Easton.

I must apologize for my picture.  I do okay with cards, but with anything acrylic I just can't get a good picture.  This is much cuter and crisper in real life.

haha glad to know I am not the only one who keeps candy just for photo purposes .... wouldn't want to eat any of it in my photos either as some are years old LOL! Love your box

I can identify with chocolate in the house! LOL This is really cute, but the photo looks pretty good to me! I have issues every time I photograph the color green! I think my camera just doesn't like that color! Pft!

Lol!!! I know what you mean about keeping the 'non-tempting' treats around...chocolate is DOOMED in my house...but I buy it anyway....if I package it soon enough I usually won't break into it! LOL!! Awesome creation, Joanne!!!

Great idea for recycling the acrylic box, JoJo! I really like how you decorated it. It's cute! You are so much more disciplined than I. I love me da chocolate!

I love recycling boxes but I think I over recycle. . I have tons of empty containers that I "planned" to use for projects. They're still sitting around waiting for me to use them! LOL! Your box is beautiful and the photo isn't bad. It still shows how pretty your box is. . .the image is adorable. . love the bling! Beautiful job as always, Joanne!!!

Wonderful project, Joanne. I'm with you about the chocolates. I can resist peppermint but not that really fattening stuff. :-)
