Keeping It Simple and Sketchie

This is the card I did for this week's Sketch Challenge on SCS.  I used the newly released set called Poppies, Poppies, Poppies by Mark's Finest Papers.

This is the card I did for last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS.  The image is by TLC Creations.  I made this for an SCSer who is have some carpal tunnel surgeries.  I chose this image because she loves giraffes AND because she totally enabled me to get this one and others.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope you are in the midst of a fabulous weekend!!!!

Oh, Joanne!!!!! That poppies card is STUNNING!! I hadn't thought to emboss the poppies in white like that, but I'm going to have to now. Such great contrast on the red background. And the damask accents look amazing. LOVE this!!

How do I ever choose a favorite when the colors (especially the RED) and the giraffe (I just LOVE giraffes) both are so dear to my heart?? Suffice it to say I love them both!! Your cards are always my very favorites, you know!! Hugs, dear friend!

Joanne, you have really gone to the top with those poppies. Wow! That card could not be any prettier.

The giraffe card is fabulous, also.
Great design and you've really put it together with the most wonderful dp.
