Distressed with Flowers

Don't ya' just love this image????  I do too and that's why I had to buy it...........however.......it has remained a 'virgin' until today!!!!  I thought it might work for my two challenges today....AND, in my humble opinion, I think it is mighty fine.

Tosh is our hostess this month on the CCEE Challenge.  She asked us to use distressing, sponging......in other words...all those tools/techniques that I lack......and she knows that!!!!!  Vicki is our hostess for this week's Stampin B's, and she challenged us to have flowers.

This fabulous image is by Flourishes, as is that so very true sentiment.  The treasures in my life are the friends I have collected along the way.  They truly do 'make my world'.

Now....let's get traveling to the challenge blogs of the two teams to see what everyone else has created for these challenges.

Stampin B's blog

By the way......please stop by Thursday evening (tonight), starting at 9 PM for a Blog Hop and New Release for Totally Stampalicious.  You will have the chance to win some fabulous prizes.  So....see ya later, alligator!!!

I am entering this is the Timeless Tuesday challenge on Flourishes.  The challenge is to make a birthday card.  This one does not say birthday, but it is certainly a card I would give many a friend on a birthday.  Hope that is okay.

Technique lacking? pshaw!!! You, my friend, rocked the ink distressing, as well as the paper distressing!! Both were perfect for this dreamy image. Gorgeous card!!

What a beautiful view out that tropical window, Joanne! If only that's what I could see out *my* window today . . . instead of dirty snow. Ugh!

Oh, what us northeners wouldn't give to be in a tropical paradise such as this beautiful one you've created, JoJo. I love it! The embossed panel behind it looks terrific with your wonderful distressing, too. You ace whatever you take on, my friend. This is beautiful!
