My Softer Side

The first card I am sharing is for the Speedy's Friends challenge.   Our goal this week was to use hearts.

I used a combo corner/border punch to created my outer border with the hearts.  I used a Marvy corner punch on the inner pink layer, and then the main panel was cut with a Spellbinder's pendant die and then sponge a bit.  The pansy is from a brand new set from Mark's Finest Papers which is my absolute fav at the moment.  The set is called Happy Pansies.

Now be sure to check out the HEART creations of the rest of the team at the Speedy's Friends Blog.

The Crazy4Challenges sponsor this week is Flower Soft.  That company was kind enough to give us some 'toys' to play with AND you could win the following........by playing along with us and posting your link too your on the Crazies blog.

On this card you will see that I used the new Peony Pink Flower Soft on each of the roses.  So, I did accompliish the goal of using our sponsor's product.  The image I used is by Michelle Perkett..

However, I failed when it came to the Crazy4Challenges goal this week which was to make a thank you card.  That was my intention, but I never really got around to leaving a space to put my 'thanks'.  So you will just have to imagine the 'thanks' being inside......lol!!!!

Head on over to the Crazies blog and there you will see the THANKS that are missing here.  I am sure they will dazzle you as usual!!!!

On the home front, we are frizzin'.....the snow ain't meltin'......and I am ready for a tropical getaway!!!  Too bad one isn't planned.  After spending most of Wednesday shoveling, I can honestly say I have already had enough of winter........

Have a great day.  Stay warm and safe!!!  (And Hoots......stay dry and safe!!.....the stories out of Brisbane are so sad......such devastation.....you stay inside and stamp!!!!)

This is crazy pretty! Wow! And I almost couldn't believe it was one of yours, there isn't any black on it! Lovely job on the pansy, that IS a great set, isn't it? One of my favorites too. Love what you did with the punch around.

Joanne, your creativity went to the top with these beauties. The pansy is so feminine and lacy and you did a beautiful job with the Flower Soft on the other card. Two gorgeous creations in my book.
