A Mad Hatter of the Modern Type

This card was created for today's Teapot Tuesday Challenge on SCS.  As always, we have a 'theme/story' and a 'destination'.  The destination for our cards this week is a fellow SCS'er.  Joyce has been battling cancer for 13 years. On November 10th, Joyce had surgery that lasted an unbelievable 15 hours. Although this surgery was necessary to battle her cancer, the result of it has been life changing for Joyce. She has been left with side effects similar to those of a stroke including impaired speech and a diet of soft and pureed foods.   The Tea Party ladies are sending cards to Joyce to make her days a little brighter.  I chose this image by Totally Stampalicious as Joyce is a Red Hatter.  The sentiment is by Impression Obsession.

If you ever have some spare time, you might want to join us at the Tea Party.  As a card maker, you will find great joy in brightening the day of people  you will never meet.  It gives your day a special glow to bring a bit of sunshine to someone else's day.

Aren't we, the ones in good health, so fortunate? Such a wonderful card, Joanne. The teapot stampers make such lovely cards and do such good deeds. I hope to get back to more of the SCS challenges soon.
