The Crazies and The Friends -- Challenges

Crazy4Challenges - C4C66
Hostess - Cindy
Challenge - Sketch

Cindy has created another of her fabulous sketches for us to play with.  I created my card with a Pure Innocence set from My Favorite Things.  And.....these sweet childlike images just make me smile.  PLUS...this image was perfect to get another holiday card done for my stash.

Now...you really must go check out the rest of the Crazies.......they are sure to bring a delight or two to your day.   You can use the link below to visit the Crazies Blog.  You may also use the links in my sidebar to the right to visit the individual blogs of the team members to learn even more about their creative process.

Speedy's Friends Challenge #32
Hostess - Joanne Travis
Challenge - red and green

I know, I know.....I should have used this challenge to use red and green to make another holiday card for the stash, but I really wanted to give you a sneak peek at a new set, called HELLO SUNSHINE , from Mark's Finest Papers that will be released soon.  I used one of several sentiments included along with a few sun images.  I like the masculine feel to this card, especially with that fab plaid paper I found in my old scrapbooking stash recently.

Now be sure to travel to the MFP Blog to see what the rest of Speedy's Friends have been up to....I am sure you will be thrilled that you took the time to do so.  And....again....you can go to my sidebar to visit the individual blogs of this team as well.

My eye caught that beautiful combination of striped DP on the first - I love how one is diagonal while the other is up/down! The 2nd is so typical of what we'd all like to think our retirement will be like.....if only! Hah! LOL

What a beautiful use of DP on your top card. I would like to use more of it on mine. I seem to not know what to put together. Your speedy cat tropical card is great! Thanks for your comment on my cardinals.

Love the PI girl with all the layered up snowflakes....and that Hellow Sunshine image is RIGHT up my alley. It's only December and I'm ALREADY thinking ahead to warm summer days at the beach.

Both cards are really cool, Joanne, but right now these PI images have totally stolen my heart!! I actually own 3 now, yipee!! Here is what I think though, wouldn't it be nice if they gave you a hair option, like the boy in the hat, to add some curls to make it a girl...as I would love to do one like this for our daughter with her dog. Oh well.
I wouldn't be too hard on yourself with holiday cards...it will all get done, and if it doesn't there is always Hallmark!! ;)
