It's Time for the Thursday Challenges -- CCEE and Stampin B's

CCEE1045
Hostess - Cindy
Challenge - Use store bought flower/s

I created this card with Flourishes Santa set.  I just love this Santa....he makes me smile!!!  Besides having a store bought flower for the CCEE challenge, I also used a glitter pen on his glasses, the berries, and the holly.  The mid layer of the poinsettia bloom also has glitter on it.  Therefore I am entering this into the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC92) for this week which was to use glitter.  (As many of you know, I do not EVER use loose glitter, and the items I use with glitter rarely show in a photo...but it really is there....HONEST!!!)

Now.....take a moment to check out the work of the CCEE gang....they will dazzle you for sure.  (Always remember that you can use the links on my sidebar to find the individual blogs of the team members.)

Stampin B's 84
Hostess - Vicki
Challenge - a HOME card

For this Stampin B's card I used a set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.  The red layer of the house is cut out and popped up.

With the wide variety of homes available, go check out the 'neighborhood' at the Stampin B's blog 'cuz I have a feeling it will be fabulous.  (Always remember that you can use the links on my sidebar to find the individual blogs of the team members.)

Hoping you are at the start of a fab weekend.  I am hoping the meteorologists are correct and we will be warm in the 60's today.  We were surprised on Monday with a inch or two of snow....yep, even on the roads.....MUCH too early for that white stuff!!!

ooh...loving em! That big ole Santa sure fills up the card as well he should. He does have a big ole belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly so why would his face not take up all that space????

Awesome......really cool!

Two super cards, Joanne! I really like the 'homespun' for the Stampin B and your Santa is one jolly dude. Don't use glitter...I never knew that. Do you find it messy? LOL

Beautiful cards. I love the Santa on the octagon shape. Great idea. That Santa is one of my favorite Christmas stamps.

The little stitched house has such a homey feeling so the sentiment couldn't match any better.
