CCEE and Stampin B's Challenges

CCEE Challenge -- CCEE1042
Hostess - Shirley
Challenge - Ruffles

I had some fun trying to figure out how I would put ruffles on a card.  Who would have thought I could put ruffles on a holiday card with FISH.  Thanks to these cute Whipper Snapper fish, I am actually pleased with the results.  I kept things pretty simple (seems to be my theme lately...lol).

Now, take a moment to see how the rest of the team RUFFLED their ctreations.  I know I can't wait to go to the CCEE blog to check them out.

Stampin B's Challenge #81
Hostess -- Vicky Gould
Challenge -- Halloween card with NO ORANGE OR BLACK
Well.....this challenge threw me for a loop as I use BLACK on almost every card I make.....for any occasion....lol!!!!  Then I happened upon this small unmounted sentiment I truly forgot I had.....and that sent me off to my Mark's Finest Papers Speedy the Cat Howl set and then it was smooth sailing from there.  My card is done entirely in purple and white.  My embossing poweder used on the moon doesn't 'exactly' match, but I think it was close enough to use.  In the background I CB'd the spider web.  I think the rest is pretty easy to see for yourself.

You must visit the Stampin B's blog to see the spooky creations of the rest of the team with NO BLACK OR ORANGE.

As you view this post, I will be midway through a vacation in the Carolinas.  I will be walking the beach at our timeshare in North Myrtle Beach, SC.......here's hoping I am doing it in warmth and sun.....but, if not, a stop in the hot tub will warm me up!!!  I am never happier than when I am near the ocean!!!

Wishing you a wonderful day, as well!!!  Do something that brings YOU joy!!!

Joanne, who would have thought about using those fish for Christmas? Now, that is cute as can be and I love those little scarves. I know what you mean about the Stampin B's Halloween card. I forgot and made just about a whole card using black and had to start over. Duh! Replaced it with gray. That was quite a challenge. Love yours.
