Challenge - Paper Piercing

I used a new template by Ecstasy to accomplish the piercing on this card.  I LOVE paper piercing, so this one was an easy one for me.  The rose is from a rubber stamp sheet from Innovative Stamp Creations.  Other than that, I think you can pretty much see what I have done.

Challenge -  Celebrate the invention of the bandaid by making a Get Well card

I must thank Frances for this challenge.  I have had this set from SU for yearssssss and had never used it.  Well, the images in the set just make me smile....and this card really went together very easily.  The sentiment and fronds are from another set, forget the company, but it was a Changito set if that helps.

As an aside.......I want to say 'Hello' to two dear friends who are kind enough to stop in to check out my blog on occasion.  Carol and Pat were two of the many wonderful friends at a 60th birthday party for another dear friend tonight.  It warms my heart that they give of their time to check in with me!!!  Thanks, girls!!!  ( or I should say --with love of course--My Fellow Old Farts!!!)

Friends are our chosen family.......and I really do feel so very blessed!!!!
