Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge.....
Make your own embellishments.
For this card I used Speedy the Cat's set called Flourished Sea Creatures which will be available from Mark's Finest Papers soon. I created my 'faux ribbon' with a Martha Stewart border punch. I made my 'faux brads' with punched dots which I covered with Diamond Glaze for dimension. Other than that, I used my Nesties Labels dies, a branches Cuttlebug folder, my SU piercing tools, and my Copics ( which by the way, are now available at Mark's Finest Papers individually or in sets).
Now be sure to visit the rest of the Speedy's team. We would love to have you play along. Go to the team's blog for details.Julia Aston

Frances is our hostess for the Crazy4Challenge this month. In Australia, it is Cupcake Day on August 16th and is a fundraiser for the RSPCA. So, this week, Frances, our friend from 'DownUnder." challenged us to have a cupcake somewhere on the card this week.
Well...I just had to, once again. grab this cutie patootie cupcake girl from Penny Black. She just makes me smile. I used my Copics, my SU piercing kit, a MS border punch, a Marvy corner rounder, and some MFP's ribbon along with my Nestie dies and some white brads. (Once again I forgot to write down who did the sentiment.....once again...if you want to know, just ask in your comment...sorry!!!)
I want to take a moment to share some exciting news.....a fabulously talented and sweet stamper is joining us this week on the Crazies. I am so excited to once again be on a team with her. She is one of my idols. So, put your cyberhands together and welcome Silke Ledlow to our Crazies team. Yippee!!!!
Please, if you have the time, join us in this fun and deeeeeeelish challenge. Here are the links to the team blog as well as to the rest of the team.
