Going Masculine with a Sketch

This week I was able to combine my two Thursday challenges into one card.....always nice when I can do that......

Shirley, our June hostess for the CCEE Challenge gave us this great sketch to play with.  I changed the circle to a rectangle, but otherwise was pretty true to the sketch.  I will add a sentiment when I use the card.

Vicki, our week's hostess for the Stampin B's Challenge gave us a goal of a masculine card.

I had not used these stamps by Innovative Stamp Creations for a while, so I dusted them off and had some fun.

I really do hope you will check out the work of both these fabulous challenge teams.  Here are the links to help you do that.....AND remember.....we love it when you have the time to play right along with us!!!

I don't know how you reach the depth of color on these images, but they look fabulous! Great card!!

There you go with your fabulous water/beach scene; what a terrific masculine card! I love the cheesecloth bg, twine, and rich colors.

I love this card and the image. You color it so well. I like the details you added to the sketch, like the twine for rope and the textures. Also like the cheesecloth that looks like netting. All so perfect for your theme.
