I Brake for the CCEE and Stampin B's Challenges!!!!!

Having Fun with the Stampin' B's!!!
The challenge for the Stampin B's this week was a color challenge of soft blue, yellow, and white.

The arrival of some stamps from I Brake for Stamps totally influenced this card. I have a very dear friend who is an awesome knitter. As soon as I saw this stamp and sentiment, I just had to make a card for her. She is not only a fabulous knitter, but she is also a recent breast cancer survivor and one of the most positive people I have ever had the pleasure to know. Our shared love for Japan is how we met, our trip-of-a-lifetime month in Japan solidified the friendship, and ever since we have been through good times and bad with her fabulous attitude (with a dose of my signature laughter thrown in....)!!!

Anyhoo.....I think you can pretty much tell what I did to make this card.....so I won't bore you with the details.   The flower punches I used were from MS.

Be sure to stop in at the Stampin B's blog to see the fab creations of the rest of the team.  You will be able to also find information that will help you play along with us.

Being Sketchy with the CCEE
This week we are working with a sketch for the CCEE.  Once again I used one of my new stamps from I Brake for Stamps.  Along with the funny ones, I also got a few silhouette images.  This fern is fabulous in many colors.

Obviously we hope that you will take some time to play with us this week.  Be sure to go to the CCEE blog for posting directions and Mr. Linky.  Also, you really must check out the fabulous work by the rest of the team.

Thanks to those of you who do stop in to check out my blog.  Your efforts are appreciated, as are any comments you have left in the past or will leave in the future.

Have a fabulous day!!!!!

Your Stampin B card is so funny. The sentiment sounds good to me. :) Your CCEE card is just beautiful. Love that embossing on the white. Is that a new one, I haven't seen it before?

I want to thank you very much for challenging my little brain late last night with trying to figure out how to make a triangle!!! Yes, it's true!!! Don't laugh! For the life of me, it took me forevah to figure it out! Ever have days like that where things just don't gel right? Like when you look at a common every day word and think the way it is spelled looks really funny? I told my husband I was stupid, and he was sweet and said, "no, you're just tired, hon."

Anywhooooo, I LOVE the beautiful color (is that cameo coral or regal rose) in your CCEE card. So beautiful! Thanks for a great challenge!

Cute Stampin' B's card, too, inspired by wonderful, friendship memories. And, yes, many need to hear your signature laughter; it is infectious!

Snugs, JoJo!

What gorgeous cards, Joanne...the knotter image is wonderful and perfect for your friend!!! I love the fern image, too, and the super awesome sketch!!!!! BTW, the friend who went to Japan with me is now taking Japanese language courses at a college in San Antonio...she has been there twice since we went together a few years ago. I hope to go with her once more but I'm not going to learn the language...LOL!!!

This is such a cool sketch, and tired or not, triangles are always a challenge for me. I admire the team's tenacity to triangulate without strangulation! :)
