CCEE1014 Challenge AND Stampin B's 53rd Challenge

CCEE Challenge
Hostess --- Moi!!!
Challenge ---Silhouette Image
Isn't this such a pretty image????  I recently was enabled by a fellow SCS stamper to purchase a few stamps from I Brake for Stamps.  This silhouette image was one of those.  Of course I HAD to use it.  I kept this a monomchromatic card using only plum papers/ink from SU.  I used a Marvy corner punch, assorted Nestie Label dies, a sheer plum ribbon,  and some elongated pearls to finish it off.  The background is not a dp;  it was made with a background stamp by Cornish Heritage Farms.

Now be sure to visit the CCEE blog to see the dazzling creations of the rest of this dynamic team.

Stampin B's Challenge
Hostess -- Vicki Dutcher
Challenge -- Color Challenge of Turquoise, Green, and White
When I first saw what the challenge colors for the Stampin B's were, I immediately thought of the ocean.  That took me to a retired SU set for this image.  It is pretty easy to figure out the process in the making of this card.  It is simple and calm, and just reminds me of the love I have for the ocean.

And...once again I invite and urge you to visit the Stampin B's blog to see the creative and fabulous work of the rest of this talented team.

Sorry I have been offline for a few days.  I had to go in for some maintenance work on my weak peepers.  Now I have to wait a week or two before returning to the pool -- a negative......but....I also can't do heavy lifting or bending, so no grocery shopping or heavy chores -- a positive.

Wishing you a wonderful day.  We had temps in the 90's yesterday.....yep in Connecticut in early April.....phew!!!!

First and foremost, I hope you are recovering well from your eye procedure the other day and being kind to your peepers.

I think you know that Bertie and I are luvin' the purty purples in your silhouette card, JoJo, and I'm glad you explained your bg was stamped and not dp; it is so beautiful!!!

Great idea to go with the ocean theme for the Stampin B's color challenge, too! It's good to see this sweet girl image being used and your coloring is terrific!

Thanks for the great CCEE challenge!
