Crazy4Challenges #29 -- Signs of Spring!!!!

The Crazies were challenged to make bright and springy cards this week.  Our sponsor for this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I was delighted with this wonderful image from this company.  When I think of spring I think of bright colors, warm temps, ever increasing presence of leaves and flowers, and eventually, sitting in the warmth of the sun.  That's what I tred to convey in meeting the challenge of Signs of Spring!!! 

I am a digital-newbie, but I must say I love the way you can resize the image!!  I colored the image with my Copics, used my SU piercing tools, added a sentiment, Cuttlebugged the vertical panel, and added a bow and brads. 

It surely is bold and bright, eh????

Here in Connecticut we have had a string of glorious spring days.  The skies have been bright blue with no clouds, the temps have risen into the 70's (setting records), the birds are chirping away, and the sunshine is so refreshingly warm.  I have been spending a lot of time in the backyard with the dog AND taking some short walks around the neighborhood.  Of course, typical New England weather, we have rain predicted over the weekend and some temps may dip down to the 20's.  So I will enjoy this weather while we have it!!!!
