Stampin B's Challenge #44 -- Wiper Card

I must say that I probably would have never tried this style of card without the help of the Stampin B's challenge.  I am pretty traditional in my fold/size of card, so when Nancyruth issued the challenge to make a wiper card, I headed into the unknown.  Using the tutorial for this found in the resources section of Splitcoast, I went to work.  AND.......I must say I am pleased with the results.  I do think I might try this style of card again, but might leave the 'wiper' part (or that extra little tabbie thing) off.  Even though the card has an unusual fold it does stand up very well.

In the creation of the card I used this fabulous image by Paper Pretties, a MS snowflake punch, a border punch, MS dp, SU cardstock, Spellbinder dies, and a CB embossiing folder.  The silver centers of the snowflakes are bradlike stickers (not sure who they are by).

Well.....today I ask that you all send good thoughts my way.  This morning I am getting another injection in my left eye.  So let's hope all goes well!!

I've never tried a wiper card before, but this is a perfect example of what it should look like! I'm weird, but I just LOVE those black snowflakes!!
I cringed when you said you were getting an injection in your eye! That sounds so painful! I hope it went well for you, and I can't imagine preparing for something like that! Whatever it was for, I sure hope it helped!
