Lois (Clownmom) is our hostess this week for the Stampin B's and she is a avid Twilight fan. It is actually because of her that I recently read the first book in the Twilight series. Well, she challenged us to a color challenge this week with a twist. We had to use red, black, and white (my fav colors any day) and we had to have a MOON on our card.
Well, I had fun with this one. I LOVE trees, so I got out one of my fav trees stamps and did a positive/negative effect with my moon. I used a Nestie to cut the main image into shape. I added a horizontal panel of designer paper, but added a litte pizzazz with my Martha Stewart flourish punch and my Marvy scallop corner punch. I also used a fancy corner punch on the white base panel and then punched around the rest of that layer. I added my fav polka dotted ribbon and my card was born.
I really must say that I LOVE the way this card turned out. Thanks for the great challenge, Lois!!!
Now you should all go to the Stampin' B's blog to check out the work of the other team members and to see how YOU can play right along with us!
