This week Lois was our Stampin' B's hostess, and she challenged us to make a gatefold card. Now, I have to tell you that I am pretty traditional when I make my cards. I don't do many of those fancy schmancy folds. So, I had to work a bit with this one, but must honestly say that I am happy with the results. However, it is a good thing that we don't hold each other strictly to the non-rules (lol) bacause I got so carried away with the gatefold that I forgot my images was supposed to have a flower in it. I remembered the flower, but I have it in my background panel, not the image. Sorry, Lois!!!! Can't wait to see what the rest of the fantabulous team does with this challenge!
Now, take a moment to visit the Stampin' B's blog to see the work of the rest of the team and to find out how you can play right along with us. We really do play well with others....lol!!!!
Have a fabulous day!!!

Thanks for doing a "fancy schmancy" fold card for me! I love all the piercing and how the horizontal red piece is part of the gate! So very pretty.
loving this Joanne
I'm the same way Joanne, I love your card!!
A trademark jojot card - black, red and white (and I KNOW there's flowers on that bg and we will all forgive you! It's a beauty, Joanne, a real beauty as always!
Joanne, as I said in my other comment I love this silhouette. On a second and more detailed look, I love the way you have you main panel attached to another panel as your anchor to the gatefold card. That looks so awesome and I will probably case this fabulous look.
Everything is so perfect on this card. I love love love it all!!!!
This is so lovely, Joanne! What a wonderful image and it's done so well in your fave colors.

This image is so playful...it seems to be inviting everyone to come and play...although the sketch looks kinda hard. But I love your image and your card Joanne!!
