Crazy4Challenges #5 -- Stitching - Real or Faux

We have a new team hostess as we are now into October. Vicki Garrett challenged the Crazy4Challenges team to use stitching on our cards. It could be machine, hand, or faux stitching. I no longer have a sewing machine of my own, so I went with the faux stitching. As you can see, I made two cards. That is basically because I was not sure how I felt about my faux stitching. It looks 'messier' than the plain piercing, so it will take me some time to get used to the look.

The first card was made in the wonderful colors of the autumnal season. The designer paper is simple fabulous and is from a Basic Grey pad called Indian Summer. This particular sheet is my favorite in the package. So deep, rich, warm and.......autumnal. The stamp is by Hero Arts.

The second card uses an image my dear friend Vicky Gould gave me a while back after I admired her card made with this image. It is made by Sugarloaf Products. To me it conveys the love of dear friends. The designer paper used also comes from Basic Grey, but is from the new holiday pad, which I think is called Eskimo Kisses???!!! The sentiment is from a set by Cornish Heritage Farms, while the velvet flower brad is by Creative Imagination.

Please be sure to visit the Crazy4Challenges blog to see the cards of the entire team. Then, take a few moments to visit the blogs of the team to read of the details about their cards. You can use the links in my Crazy4Challenges team sidebar to get to their blogs.

This is the first challenge of the month, so there will be a chance for a prize for those participating in the challenge. Good luck!!!
