This picture of the two friends who came to Myrtle Beach with me this year is an example of our view each and every day. Sunny skies, warm temps (sometimes into the high 70's and 80's), the sounds and view of the ocean, good food.......a way of life I could certainly get used to on a daily basis.
Walks along the Grand Strand were the most strenuous AND enjoyable part of the trip. Just to be at the water's edge brings me such peace and calm.
Swimming in the pool, wading in the ocean, and enjoying our penthouse's hot tub while gazing at the stars were even more reasons to not want the trip to end.
However, as the saying goes, 'all things must come to an end', but I must say that a good time was had by all. It is so wonderful to share a place one loves with the friends who make life so enjoyable. So, thanks to Ginger and Marlene for sharing this adventure with me. Just as birds and people leave their footprints in the sand, so do the times spent with dear friends leave 'footprints' in your heart!!!
I am hoping to deal with the aftermath of unpacking. laundry, snail mail, old newspapers, AND email issues as quickly as possible so that I can get STAMPING. Was so excited to hear that we were truly able to surprise the Muddamark on her birthday.....!!!!
Wishing you all a wonderful day.
