ISC's Sketch Challenge (with a prize)

Betsy, at Innovative Stamp Creations, is sponsoring a Sketch Challenge. You have from today until Sunday, October 11 to play around with this sketch. I have found this to be an easy sketch use. If you create a card with ISC stamps using this sketch, YOU could be the winner of a free stamp sheet of your choice from ISC. For more details, be sure to visit the ISC BLOG.

The card above was made using Innovative Stamp Creations' Let It Bloom stamp sheet. I just love the three graduated-in-size flower images. They are so versatile to layer for a 3-dimensional flower or to use as I did as a bouquet for the eyes. It also has a great sentiment that comes with it.

The card below was created with the sheet called Shades of Autumn. It has a variety of leaves, a fern, and varied sentiments. If this card looks familiar to some of you, this card was done for last week's SCS color challenge......I goofed as I thought that was when this sketch challenge started!! I must say that this card was influenced by a simply gorgeous card created by my fellow ISC Creative Architect, Julie, who just blew me away with this wonderful leaf creation. Mine pales in comparison, but I do still love the results. I am a leaf and tree person so I always appreciate the beauty of a card with those themes. Here in New England we are now approaching the most beautiful season of the year, IMHO!!! However, the following is not an autumnal card.

Well, I am sure many of my fellow ISC Creative Architects will have their sketch cards on their blogs today, so be sure to visit them and see what they have created. If you need a reminder of who is on the team, use the links in my sidebar listing the team members.

Have a wonderful day. I will be seeing my OLD FARTS CLUB friends tonight for dinner, so I know I will have a GREAT day. We have been friends for nearly 40 years (yep...longer than many of you have been alive!!) and when we get together the laughter and joy, chatter and teasing bring me such joy!!! At this point, only one of us is still teaching!! The rest of us are happily....very, very, very happily retired!!! (Carol, if you are reading this....see you tonight!!!)

Those pink flowers are to die for!! I REALLY love that card and how you designed, embossed, and colored it! The 2nd one is awesome too, with the great coloring of those leaves and ribbon! Have a great time with your "OLD FARTS CLUB tonight!" Now that sounds like pure FUN! I can honestly say (now) that I too enjoy being an old fart and retired:) You go girl!!!
