Stampin' B's Challenge #21 Acetate

Lois (Clownmom) was our hostess for the Stampin' B's Challenge this week. She assigned the use of acetate on your card. Well, I cut a card sized piece of acetate and ran it through my Cuttlebug with one of my new (and fav) embossing folders. It came out fabulously. I adhered it to a piece of pink cardstock with the four corner brads, and then I built my card from there. I have been doing a lot of Design Team stuff lately, so I took a break from that and used this adorable Penny Black image. Isn't it just the cutest!!!! I colored the image with Copics and then used my Nesties to cut it out. I felt a need for some black around the edge of the image so I ran a chisel cut black marker around the edge for a thin no-paper mat. I have had some of these Heide Swapp ghost flowers 'forevah' and decided to use a couple with a button for the flower center. At that point I thought I was done, but there was something missing. Eventually I added the two rows of ribbon. That seemed to pop it the way I wanted....so I stopped there!!!!!

Please be sure to visit the Stampin' B's blog to see the work of the rest of the team AND to find out how you can play right along with us.
