A Simple Sketch with a Punch!!!

Well...this EAST coaster should be sleeping........but instead I am wide awake and typing this post......oh well....that is one nice thing about being retired....always time the next day to catch up on sleep!!!!

This card was created for the Sketch Challenge on SCS, hosted by Rox. This was a pretty simple sketch, but I really think it packs a punch in drama. The stamp I used is made by Innovative Stamp Creations. It is from an unmounted deeply etched red rubber sheet called Hibiscus. This is one very useful and beautiful set.

Well.....now that I am ready to post this, I think I'll go read a bit in the hopes that I can get a bit sleepy. It is 1:20 AM and I really should be sleeping!!!!

Have a fabulous Wednesday!!!

I just showed your card to my 4-year-old and she said, "That's called a pretty golden flower." :)

Who are you punching girl!!! :) I like that little tag on the side, is that a homemade shrinky dink tag? If not, please share, or even if it is, please share. I bought some of that stuff and haven't been brave enough to use it! Very nice job with all the piercing . . . watch your fingers!

Beautiful job coloring that hibiscus. I have one hibiscus bush in my yard, but I don't have much of a green thumb -- it doesn't get many blossoms. I love all the piercing. It adds so much to a card.

I commented on this at SCS (I am pretty sure!) Its gorgeous like all of your things are!

I came here to see of you are still hanging your head cuz if you are, I wanna hang mine with you! Ever since I saw your hanging your head comment on my blog I meant to come here to *talk* to you and I keep forgetting! So a couple of days have gone by and now I am hanging my head too!

No reason to hang your head SnoSnot! You keep it high! I love that you visit me at SCS and on my blog and IN PERSON for goodness sake! No worries about doing my teapot challenge! You are busy, busy, busy. Like we all are! Love ya!
