ISC -- Nature's Silhouettes I in Pink

Today I decided to play a bit with my stamps from Innovative Stamp Creations, as I was taking a rest from the SCS challenges.....lol!! Just decided to stamp 'freely' for a change. This stamp comes from their set call Nature's Silhouettes I.

This is a fairly quick card, but I love the effect you get when you use the SU Big Note die for a horizontal panel. To get it matted (as I seem to always have a NEED to do) I just cut a second 'note' in black and then cut it in half and layered it. Because you cut the ends off, it is really quite easy with no real piecing problems. The background is designer paper, not stamped. I added a bit of paper piercing and a few brads and that is tha!!! All the focus, I believe, is where it should be.......on those fabulous flower silhouettes.

Hope you are having a fabulous Sunday. I plan to now go read as I am in the second half of a book by John Sanford that has me on the edge of my seat trying to solve the 'murders'. Gotta love a good mystery. Hope you can find time today to do something that brings you joy and/or peace.

Hugs,
Joanne (jojot)
