Stampin B's Highlight Challenge

Due to internet issues, I am getting this ready for posting early just in case it goes out again. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed that the problem is fixed. We've been without internet most of yesterday and all of today up to 30 minutes ago.

Anyhow.....This card was created for the Stampin B's weekly challenge. Vicky was hostess for the week and she chose for us to work with the highlighting technique. (A tutorial on this technique is available at SCS in the resources section.) In place of a small isolated area of highlighting, I went with the diagonal. I used this retired SU hydrangea stamp which I thought would work beautifully. What do you think????

Stop in to the Stampin B's challenge blog to see what the other members did and please join with us and make a card or two using this technique. Upload it to SCS using the keywork StampinB and we will all be able to view the cards.

No stories to tell today. I had to stay close to the phone, so no pool. no walk with the dog, no workshop........a quiet day on the homefront.

Wowsers Joanne is this ever gorgeous!! I always tend to go with just a circle or oval to highlight...never thought of doing a whole diagonal piece. I'm such an *in the box* stamper. Love your *out of the box* thinkin' girl!! This is STUNNING!!!
